Thank you!
Awesome...thanks
Thanks a mil. Definitely going to use it.
Woo hoo! I can't wait to hear how it turns out! If you share it on social, tag me, okay?
I've actually never seen these! Growing up my Grandfather would place the palm above the doorway for the year, until the next year when we would get a new palm. It signified that Jesus was present and welcome in our home.
Love that idea! And it would work just as well with a plain palm or a folded cross--either way!
I will try this year! It is beautiful. Thank you
You should! And share a picture with me -- I'd love to see it!
What a fun idea! Thanks!
Thanks! I'm glad you liked it ❤️
Nice instructions! Thank you!
Thanks! ❤️
Thanks Brittany! I've never seen this made before with a palm. Will make one this year for sure!
Really? Sounds like this is your year to try it out! I can't wait to see what you come up with!
@@EquippingGodlyWomen I don't remember having having palms every year at our church growing up, not even as an adult. So this IS going to be my year!
Such a great idea
Thanks, Angie!
Thank you! I always watch other people doing the cross and then try and fail. Not this year thanks to your video!!
Awww! Yeah, there are a few different ways to make them -- and I've made them other ways before. I just find this way the easiest to do and remember, because you can see what you're doing and why -- unlike the ones where you start with random folds you won't remember ❤️
Such a neat idea. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks, Carol!
I made a palm cross a couple years ago, but I have completely forgotten! Thank you so much for this.
Sounds like it's time to make another one! ❤️
@@EquippingGodlyWomen Amen!
What a great idea!!
Thanks! I think they're lots of fun. And so easy to make!
Equipping Godly Women funny story! My husband came home today with a Palm Leaf plant from a client!!!!
Thank you for this tutorial! I have never been able to make these. My boys always made them for me. I will definately make one this year. Show off for the boys! haha!
Lol! Don't even tell them in advance. Just fold one up real fast, and they'll be so impressed! 😂
Great video! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you! Thanks for watching and commenting! ❤️
LOVE this idea!! 💜
Thanks! ❤️ I was excited to finally get to share them this year!
Great work!
Thanks, Lisa! ❤️
Cute!!
Thanks! ❤️
Thank you! Love bring home palms after Palm Sunday service...now I can make them into a cross!
Yes! You should! It's fun :)
Looks great. Remember these always being at the flower shop when we picked up a bouquet for my grandmother after church on Easter Sunday.
I didn't know they sold them at flower shops! That's a great idea though!
Good tutorial!
Thank you, Katherine!
Really beautiful use for the palm frond. Very easy to follow tutorial.
Thanks Brittany 😊
Thank you, Allison! I'm glad you found it easy to follow! ❤️
Thank you! I will be trying this. Happy Lent & GOD Bless You!
Thanks! Happy Lent to you too! ❤️
I did this as a child! I always looked forward to Palm Sunday for this reason!
Does your church still hand them out now that you're an adult?
@@EquippingGodlyWomen my current church does but the one I went to as a kid saved them all for the kids
@@EquippingGodlyWomen my current church does but the one I went to as a kid saved them all for the kids
Thanks for the info. Growing up, palm crosses were given out at our church and as children do, I would inevitably fiddle with it until it came apart and I could never get it back together again!
lol! You must have had a dedicated church if they folded them all FOR you! I've heard of churches doing that, but I don't think it's common!
I have never even seen a Palm Cross! thanks for sharing!
Awww, I'm glad that now you have! I think they're lots of fun if you can get your hands on a palm frond to make one :)
Thank you! I’ll try it on Palm Sunday!
You should! They're really easy to make, and a lot of fun too!
Would like to make these!
You should! And if you do, share a picture on social. I'd love to see it!
Great video! Easy to follow directions. Can't wait for Palm Sunday!
Thanks, Jen!
My grandma used to make these for us! However, she never taught us how to make them. Thanks Brittany!
Aww, now YOU get to be the one who makes them! ❤️
This is a cute idea and you did a great job walking us through the steps.
Aww, thank you! I'm glad you found it useful!
My church has never given out palms like that, but this would be so cute to do with my kids!
Yeah, not all churches do it, but they're a lot of fun to make if you can get your hands on a palm!
This is such a neat idea! Thank you for the tutorial.
Thanks, Liz!
no longer will I spend half of Palm Sunday mass trying to blindly figure this out instead of paying attention. Thanks!
lol! I am in no way endorsing not paying attention during church ;)
how long do these last?
Depends what you want to do with them! They don't stay bright green and pliable long at all (only a couple of days, if that). But once they're folded, they simply dry out over time. They lose their color, but they still make great decorations! (Some people leave them up all year)
