Hey Jessie nothing like old trucker stories..like I was going so fast in my Mack the Bulldog on the hood turned around and looked at me scarry...weeeewooo!!!!@@@b.s.com!!!!140 mile a hour
I could listen to these guys trade stories all day long. Love it! Reminds me of my grandfather telling me stories from when he ran some real some real pieces of crap in the 50’s, 60’s 70’ and so until he retired in the early 90’s. Stories of running in PA mountains with no heat and basically falling out of the truck because his legs were so cold. Also heard stories of him running through alligator 🐊 alley down in Florida with no CB and obviously no cell phone back then. God rest his soul, sadly he passed away in February of 2020 right before Covid hit at the age of 92. Man I wish he could have driven some of these newer rigs just to feel how much better the ride was compared to the days of way way back. He was a great man and not to mention he also served proudly in WW2. Actually lied about his age just to enlist in the Navy. R.I.P Raymond McGovern. Just a gold ol guy born and raised in Philadelphia like myself.
I drive threw northern ALBERTA every winter in -50 snow storms you want to talk about freezing up you gotta know how to drive when hauling across Canada in the winter
