Friedman Phil X vs Soldano SLO, Gibson ES-335

Friedman Phil X vs Soldano SLO crunch channel (both with and without a Klon od), and SLO OD channel. Good luck following which amp I'm playing. 😉
FWIW, love them both, but kept the SLO and moved the Friedman on. The SLO is my desert island amp, if I could have just one. The SLO crunch channel is very much like my favorite JCM800, and with a pedal or two, does what the Friedman does. The OD channel is my fav lead sound.

I miss my SLO100 so much..had to sell years ago..badass amp..mine had the depth mod

I have an SLO 100, great amp. I prefer my Suhr SL68 over the SLO though.

Totally different amps. I much prefer master volume and effects loop over unbridled, raw volume. At least at home.
