Lathan random underrated. He had some struggles in 2022 towards the end of the season, but vastly improved his coverage in 2023. He was also osu’s most consistent tackler last year before he got hurt, he was a huge loss especially for the michigan game

you ain’t lying. one of my biggest issues with Day and his staff is that don’t rotate for shit even again schools like akron

He’s a prototypical strong safety. Really good at run fitting from 12 to 15 yards off the ball and has gotten a lot better in coverage over the past year

A michigan fan tried to tell me that Rod Moore was a better player than Caleb Downs lol, Moore got injured in the offseason but he is not a better safety than Caleb Downs

Keon Sabb was a huge loss for Michigan. I was bummed he left

I think RJ Mickens from Clemson should have made the list. This will be his 3rd year starting. In 3 years, he hasn’t allowed more than 100 yards in any year and he’s only given up 1 TD to 5 INTs. He only has a 10% missed tackle rate

Definitely thought about him! Was one of the top honorable mentions

  • @joshuathebuckeyeartistbarton

Ransom should be ahead of saab

Why is sabb above makari paige? Sabb was backing him up and that’s the reason he transferred

Where would you rank Rod Moore if he wasn’t hurt

    • @PFFCFB

Max had him 7th in his safety rankings. He likely would’ve been around there

So Xavier Watts is the returning Defensive Player of the Year! But only the 5th best safety, garbage list

Billy bowman…that defense had more picks than allowed passing tds. Billy bowman is a mile ahead of most of these guys…what a joke
