I tried konmari style folding but it did not worked with kids. Draws kept going messy. So I tried all kinds folding. People thought that I was nuts😅 Now I fold with my own style - Katmari style. The idea is to make a package that won't open in draw and everything stay neat😊

I thought I would never do grocery drop off, but I did and loved it. Was doing it for a couple years, but then the store decided not to do that option anymore, so I'm back to pick up our going myself.
CONGRATULATIONS!!! I'm so very happy for you and your family. Your girls will both appreciate having their own rooms later on as they get older. Try not to stress about it. I feel so identified with you because house work is the hardest and your still always with a great and positive attitude ❤ I have 2 teenage daughters no more babies like you do but still it’s a big big responsibility, still cook for them, watch them even closer because of the precious years their going through. I do love to clean,clean😊 but sometimes it’s just to much for one person😢 I work from home now and I love it but us women do have so so much work, nonstop work all the time. Take care Michelle😊❤

Hey Friend, Happy Sunday. I don’t like cooking and cleaning either so you’re not alone. I love washing my clothes in tide pods or gain flings, they’re so much easier than pouring in laundry detergent. ❤ I love how you started out wanting to be a decorating Channel but you are now doing cleaning and decorating. I did a similar thing with my channel I started out wanting to only give out advice to people but now I sprinkle some advice while showing people things what I enjoy doing in my life. ❤ I love clothes and having plenty of clothes on hand so I have a lot of options to choose from. I have calmed down some as well but I still buy some more on occasion. ❤ yeah I feel the same way whenever something feels too good to be true, something always happens. That’s why I make sure when I interview for a job, I get the job before I tell anyone. ❤🥰

I've always loved this house and I never thought you would want to buy another house 😢 It will be a new fresh start from zero - I'm really excited for you ❤️ but in general personally it has always been difficult for me to leave people, things I am used to, and my home that I love so much... Remember what I said on the day you move out of this house, when you look at the rooms for the last time and you lock that door.
I do love this house! I’m going to miss it when we leave! But I will be ready for new beginnings! We will still be close to friends and family which was important to us!
I’m so happy for you and your family on the new house. And there’s always going to be “what ifs” in any situation, whether you’re making a change or keeping things the same. So definitely don’t let that make you feel down, you should be able to feel excited about it

I occasionally have groceries delivered (in the winter when it’s snowing and freezing ) however, there is a delivery fee and the items are priced a bit higher as well. That goes for pick up too😩

I prefer pick-up for my groceries. I just park and they load it in the car for me. Especially when I purchase heavy items such as dog food and the sparkling water cases. I also like it because it helps me limit my spending because I tend to spend more when I go in the store. I suddenly remember I need everything 😬

And I order groceries for delivery almost exclusively. I’ve been doing that since Covid. I discovered it and just haven’t stopped. It’s awesome 😊

We are an older couple with health issues and so a lot of grocery deliver thru Wal-Mart. A couple of issues we’ve had is getting things like a gallon of milk that the sell date is 2 days out, as well as other items, substitutions, and things not being delivered and having to get that straighten out. Congratulations on your new home and I know you will definitely enjoy NO stairs. Great cleaning motivation and I’m sure you can get online and find come crock pot recipes. 😊❤😊🏚🎉🎉

Loved this video!!! I wanted to let you know that you inspire me with every video to not sweat the small things and you have helped me maintain my house! I am also always behind on cleaning even though I do it every day lol. For laundry, honestly, I use whatever is cheapest when I need to buy it.

I was extremely nervous about my current house. It was the last floor plan available. One that I had waited forever for. But when I was waiting for it to get approved I found a diff house. But never felt right. So we signed the contract. I was scared that the last house wouldn’t sell in time for the new one got built. But everything worked out perfectly and I love it!!!

Hi Michelle, I had foot surgery and did grocery delivery for the first time , and honestly it was nice, but I like going cause I like seeing the food, lol, I’m older my son is grown so it is easier for me to go and shop, but it was nice since I couldn’t drive for 2 weeks. I do Kroger pick up sometimes. My daughter uses the Target drive up option.
I have an LG washer and dryer and I always wash/dry my clothes on delicate. I have the same problem with my dryer and for my hack for that I select “most dry” and then when the cycle ends I actually do the speed dry or time dry setting on low temp. Your model and settings may be a bit different than mine but hopefully you have something similar and I hope this helps!
I am definitely a method girl, especially for granite. The method granite cleanerfantastic the best I've ever used and also I like Meyer's products.

New here but don't feel guilty for growing. We all should. When you sell your house it will be exactly what someone needs. As we out grow things in our life it's better to pass it on and move on rather than hording it and limiting yourself. :)

Used, & have, a ton of cleaners. It is an addiction for me....mainly green, non-toxic ones too. I told you before that we have the SAME LG washer/dryer....no, I never use that dryer setting. I am told all the time too! LOL We have been in our home for 34 years, we bought our home before kids, we were (husband,25, me, 20) he is 5 years older than me. Hugs to you, God bless!

Ive got a simple crockpot dip recipe for you....its corn dip, perfect for this super bowl weekend! So 3 cans of corn, drained, 4 sticks of cream cheese, 1 stick butter and jarred jalephenos to your taste ...serve with your favorite tostitos or chips...everyone loves it! I take it to every get together because its requested.

Tip about the dryer, dry it on normal, w low heating seting, the delicate mode on the lg Dryers are wayy to delicate, and made to wash only 5 pieces of clothes perfect to wash and dry handwashables!

It really is!!
I always watch before bed. So I definitely not cleaning. My husband does our grocery shopping now. And I’ve asked him if he wants to try grocery pick up. I don’t think they would deliver to my house. Our driveway is steep. We have four wheel drive. Although, my husband was getting my granddaughter’s car ready for her. And it’s front wheel drive and made it up. But he doesn’t want to try grocery pick up or delivery. He spends forever at the store. And today I knew the list wasn’t much. But he went to Home Depot before the store. I have tried Blueland. And wasn’t that impressed. I buy my cleaner on Amazon. And it’s ECOS All purpose cleaner, plant based cleaner. It smells citrusy. I also bought the same brand bathroom cleaner. It is green tea tree. It doesn’t smell as well. But it works good. I got a lot of laundry done the last few days. But I just took everything off my bed and put new bedding that I’ve had waiting to do. So now I have more laundry to do. But that’s okay. I did go a day or two without doing laundry. Just so I don’t have to listen to my husband tell me I’m using all our water. I actually did three small loads today. He thinks I should only do two. He wasn’t home and our mattress pad needed washed. I use Tide and have for forty years. And I use dryer balls. And a roll up a ball of tin foil and put it in the dryer. It’s supposed to help with static. And I really think it works. When my foil is a tiny ball from being in the dryer, I throw it away and make a new one. I don’t fold Marie Kondo way. But I may watch the video to see how. I usually hang all our shirts and my husband’s jeans. So the only thing in drawers are socks, underwear and pajamas. And my sweatpants. I think it’s great that you might be getting a house you want. That makes a big difference. We downsized four years ago. Now I’m ready for a little bigger house. So when family comes here to stay. We need a bigger living room or a family room. We live in a small three bedroom two bath home. We don’t need more bedrooms or bathrooms. But we need more common rooms. Plus, this house has no storage. So our office is a junk room. Right now you can’t even walk inside. But I’m going to clean it out one day. And most of it won’t be going back in.
My favorite crock pot recipe is slow cooker French dip! Find one where the recipe calls for a beer in the slow cooker. It’s sooooooo good! And then I just get a baguette, put some butter and toast it in the oven, then Mayo, the meat, and some provolone. 😋
I always get my groceries delivered 🤣 ALWAYS. I am a single mom of 4 kids, all girls, and the youngest 2 are autistic. So praise Jesus for delivery. Because any shopping trip no matter if it’s 5 minutes or 30 minutes, it’s always so stressful and a nightmare.

I’ve learned in life, with age, that you don’t owe anyone an explanation for your choices. Yes, you have a beautiful home, but your family’s wants and needs have changed. That’s a decision you and your husband get to make. I think sometimes people add their two cents in from a kindness point of view, but there are times when people need to just be supportive.

Decorate every week?! Oh my 😭 I didn't know that was a thing! Very interesting.
I guess I meant to come up with content every week that was around decorating I was struggling with. So for me I decided not to go that route.
You may need to have your dryer ducts cleaned out. May have a clog or just very full. That was our issue. Our old dryer was doing the same thing. Got our ducts cleaned and old dryer worked great again.
Great motivation. I rotate what products I use and haven't found the Holy grale cleaner yet. I always believe that you should never feel something is to good to be true. God provides us what we need in his time.

Thank you for always being so motivational! I haven’t had groceries delivered but I do Walmart pick ups. My husband prefers to shop in store, so he usually does the grocery shopping. I’m so lucky! I hate going to ghettos grocery store! lol
Mississippi pot roast is a great crockpot dinner. It’s super easy. A roast, we use beef or a pork tenderloin, a packet of au jus, a packet of ranch, a stick of butter and peppercini’s. I cook on low for 7 hours. Delish! My hubbies favorite! And, if you add beef broth you can make beef and noodles with all of the same ingredients. I put my noodles in the last hour and turn it on high. Yummo!!
Pot roast is another easy crockpot meal. Roast, carrots, celery, potatoes, onion, beef broth. Simple but oh so good!!

What dry setting do you put on the dryer?
Grocery delivery every time !!
I do grocery pick up from Walmart since it’s free. That alone saves me so much time and actually really helpful. I plan out my meals and go through the fridge by Wednesday. I add every ingredient I need and any thing else like soap or toilet paper. Then schedule it for pick up Thursday when I’m off. Here lately I’ve been liking Aldi for produce and since the store is so small in comparison to like Walmart I’ll just do a quick run in and grab what I need.
Watch Jordan pages laundry routine been doing it like her for years and it really is the best way to wash clothes without wear and tear. Textures over colors! Also try a medium heat for a longer time setting I like the eco feature on our GE.

I bought one of the Bissell little green machines after I saw you use it to clean your rug. But mine leaks from the bottom of the water tank. It cleans my rug pretty well but I have to put a towel under the water tank. It also has no water in the dirty tank only a little dirt. I ordered it from Amazon in 2022 and it's really never worked well. I kept thinking I was doing something wrong but I don't think so. It's too late now to return it. Do you have any problem with yours.
We’re building a house right now and it’s almost done after a year. Ours is a custom home build so we didn’t have to go to a design center. Personally I think that has its pros and cons. The pros are that I really got to let my creativity run wild. I also got to shop around the best prices on fixtures and stuff. The cons are that because there is so much choice it gets VERY overwhelming, VERY fast. This is our forever home, and the first one we built. I swear I’ll never do this again. I told my Husband that if, for some reason this one was to burn to the ground or something, we’re just rolling a double wide in, it’s place. Now, don’t get me wrong, my new house is gorgeous and very well built, I just can’t deal with the stress of it all. I was told building a house is SUPER stressful and they aren’t wrong. Especially if you’re a perfectionist (like I am). Being a perfectionist makes the process even more stressful I think.

Delicate cycles are generally designed for smaller loads or lightweight clothes. Try putting fewer items in each load, or sort your clothes into groups of similar weight fabrics.
