- #Qatar recently made history when it announced that they are dismantling the kafala system and removing the No Objection Certificate (NOC). All workers will be able to change jobs without the need for NOC. Qatar is also adopting a non-discriminatory minimum wage, the first of its kind in the Middle East!

And government shuld also start checking on company if they actually follow the rules coz they follow it on paper but they don't actually do it in real.
I know companies that pays 1200QR and make them work for 12 hours and 7 days and these employees can't go file a complaint coz first they are poor and will lose the job and second it will take a significant amount of time to get justice so they just work as it is.
Qatar government should do something for these labour forces.
It sounds really good on papers but reality might be vastly different.Thank you
Dont worry they now have a task force to make sure they comply in 6 months inshallah no more problems

This NOC system is not helpful,if qatari visits to ministry of labor in West bay....they will cancel our sponsorship change with no reason...my application is cancelled in the same way after I get approval from adlsa and I got notice period for one month.i really faced it And I experienced this situation and I'm helpless now 😭.....if you are working under qataris better don't apply for sponsorship change...

What if employer files a false absconding case ?
What if Employer cancels ID during notice period?

I have simple 2 questions?1st=my salary package is =basic salary 1400qr+food 200+accommodation 400+transportation 200 so my food &accommodation will be increase. 2nd=no need to finish two years contract

Important Question :
What if we comply with all the rules and provide a notice period to our employer(lets say of 1 month), and he says "Ah ,you want to change your job. I'll terminate you or cancel your visa before you do that. I'm an Evil Boss 👿"
Is there any law regarding this ?
And also, this video was when this law was announced. Now, its already been published. And I read its 1 month notice period for untill 5 years of working ( instead of 1 months untill 2 years and 2 months after 2 years completion) Can you please check this also.

You need to ask your previous employer to cancel your visa
