Great video and a fantastic Bargan on the installations love recycled material that does not go to waste. brilliant . God bless guys . From The Land Down Under.
I just started following your channel! You are all hard workers & doing an amazing job building your shop! Being creative & keeping costs at a doable price is hard to do these days but I think you are figuring out the best way to get it done! Great job!
I really enjoyed the variety in this video. The drive, the wildlife, the hard work you've been doing is all great. I'm looking forward to seeing the next update.
Been waiting impatiently for this video! Glad to see you guys are preparing for the cold, but still have time to send us the proof! The boy is growing up, too!
The trees are looking beautiful! Well done on those panels. Your boy is really pitching in & helping great! Working on earning that Jeep! Enjoy watching you all work.
Great Stuff Pro is what you need for foaming those edges. It is much cheaper in the big cans. We did our entire house with exterior foam and the pro system is perfect for that. They make a glue version of the foam just for what you are doing as well as expanding foam for filling gaps, minimal expanding foam for doors and windows, and a few more -- I believe they even make a bug repelling foam for foundations! We used the expanding foam and EPS panels to create a 'poor man's' spray foam for our flat roof attic. Look into it online or at the big box. The place is looking beautiful guys!
Absolutely love how your family pitches in to help!! Y’all are doing great. By the way, 66 years old and never knew turkeys could fly....🤷♀️ never too old to learn I guess....
Awesome views brother 💯 , this channel for sure needs more subs 👍 , you all do a great job , great Videos , and I wish more people would sub to your channel 👍😀 . Thank you for all the content you give us it's Awesome and relaxing to watch 💯👍🙏🙏🙏
You have probably explained in a previous video but I noticed that you don't have anything under your metal roof like a weather barrier. Are you worried about your metal rood sweating and dripping down? I only ask because I have never built a barn style building before and I am in the process of building one now. Everyone around me says to put something down or the metal will sweat and drop down all over the shop. I am putting trusses 2 foot on center and hadn't decided on covering with OSB and then metal roof or purlins and metal roof. At this point purlins might save me a lot of cash. Thanks for your time. :)
I really do enjoy watching your videos and the pro how Everone work on y'all's future , location great it off the rad The Pride each one Put in your work who I could eat here watch y'all all day Long , Y'all are wonderful Parents And You Children Are Awesome, God Bless y'all and Your New Home 😇🇮🇱🤗🍂🍁🇺🇸
Awesome guys! So glad you'll have that shop enclosed by winter. What are you feeding that boy anyway?! He became a man overnight! I'll bet it's good to have him around to help.
I'm number one today! Been patiently waiting for your video! What ever happened with the chipmunk she was bottle feeding? Been wondering how you was going to do the side walls. Looking good my friends.
You are really good at reusing construction demolition materials. I would definitely insulate with this, on my post and beam 20’x30’ that I’m closing up now. ( 2 doors and 3, windows to go). What is the panel called? “Fraser board”?
i am building a house right now and have about 7 hammers and it seems they all hide from me everytime i need one. as soon as i find one the rest show up. and i have started posting a few videos for my friends that dont have face book but anyone can see then if they want to look.
5 bucks a panel, thats awesome. you said yhey were freezer panels...are they sold under that category when buying new, or were they just rigid and used as insulation for a freezer?. nice place, cant wait to start building me a small cabin on the property.
Good job thinking you way around the high price of materials and doing your own labor. That's the American way! Quick and easy credit make you a slave for years.....
We had a pole barn garage that we insulated with dry sawdust and I suppose we live there about ten years after that never had any problem we had 80 degrees outside and there's zero inside you can see your breath in the spring in the fall even if your fire went out your stove it was nice and warm in there in the morning the walls were 8 to 10 inch thick however big those posts are... I call him stink bugs where in Wyoming I've been in Minnesota most things are everywhere I'm not calling stink bugs because if you squish one they stink
Should not be much different than insulating a post frame barn, which is often done with fiberglass batts, would need good house wrap as drafts are no good when you're trying to insulate something
Beautiful country I enjoyed the view from the truck..always enjoy your vids... is there anyone who doesn’t love an old dog?
I wouldn't mind traveling 60 miles to a saw mill at all if the scenery was that lovely. Blessings on you all stay safe be happy!

The hammer throwing show was great to watch.
But buy the boy his own hammer to take of, he deserves it for his efforts so far.
The man has a plan!! Awesome, keep it coming!!
Love seeing what your doing hopefully only another month and we'll be building again
Beautiful country and shop looking great.

Very smart staggering those panels.

You got a really sweet deal on those insulation boards!
loved the chipmunk
I could hear what I thought maybe a fly but it was those bugs 😂😂😂💖🇦🇺
New sub here. Loving this shop so I am gonna go back and watch some more. Those turkeys would make it too my freezer camp...haha.
Winner, winner, turkey dinner.
Ah it’s like duct board. Not too bad!
life-size igloo cooler but is looking nice
That was quite the score on finding those freezer insulation panels for $5.00 each.

Thats the one in the video. When he was strong enough we let him go. He has about 10 friends and they hang out around the shop
I've seen lots of wild turkeys but never one flying. Thanks!
Coming down 94 going west heading towards downtown Saint Paul. Turkeys flying over the freeway this time of year. A bit startling to be sure.
The chipmunk could have it's own channel =P
Never seen such a friendly chipmonk
Had a pet chipmunk when I was 9. I think he came to a bad end. Bald eagle.

Chipmunk showing you that it wa rs nuts not your wood! Ha Ha
Awesome and well done
Love the way the Chipmunk fills its mouth with nuts. I watched it while visiting my sister in USA 2020
What brand/type of insulation is that and are you using the same type for the roof?
That turkey said "Bake at 350°".
Good job thinking you way around the high price of materials and doing your own labor. That's the American way! Quick and easy credit make you a slave for years.....
So so exciting!!! 😁
I'm jealous
What kind of dog is that?
Hes Massive !! New Subscriber,
He is an akita
What is your wall R-value? I have to meet a miniumum of R-18 (13+5) to satisfy codes. In the process of figuring out the insulation right now.
Buy a bug zapper. They have them at HD
Looking good
