The Suvarnodyanam Biological Park is owned and operated by Kerala State Forest Department.
It is situated near by Cochin International Airport, Golf Club.
It is very calm and quite area. It give a forest atmosphere just near inter national airport.
CIAL need land at Thattekad for construction of their signal Tower. At the time forest department give land for this purpose and CIAL give this land instead of thattekad land to Forest department.
Forest department create a mini forest by using this land.
You can very easily reach from Athani junction or Kariyard junction.
Entry Fee: Adult 30/- & Child 20/-
Parking Fee Extra
Working Days: Tuesday to Sunday
Monday holiday
Working time: 9 AM to 5 PM
There was water park with a pedal boating activity inside the compound but now it's not operating.
There is well paved walk area available all over the compound
There is also well maintained bamboo hunts for travelers to take rest and enjoy the scenery
In Miyawaki forest, 104 variety species and 390 number of pants are planted here in 2019.
One side of the park is sharing the boundary with golf club, thereby we can see there activities too.
Ideal place for family, bachelors and couples day out.
Best place for photoshoot and pre-wedding shoots (pre-permision required).
Herbal Garden near to the ticket counter is also rich with beautiful species of herbal plants.
