Y'all commenting "why'd you shave?" don't realise he'll have his beard back in like 2 hours
There is something so relaxing about watching a person get a professional shave.
It is pushing me closer and closer to taking off my beard.....
Really? Dudes stressing me the hell out
Nick Soapdish true
I agree ☝🏻
Nick Soapdish that would be $75
10 min later, full beard again
Lmaooooo!!!!!
Stevokinevo77 crazy how back in the day that’s what most clients did and that’s how most barbers made their money
ahahahhahahah
Laser and needle depilation help against this
No as the barber shave left cheek, beared grown on right nd as he shave right beard grown on left cheek🙄🙄🙄
Introducing Francisco, the only barber in the world with NO tattoos.
Im not tattoed too. Wanna book in?
My Dad is a barber and he owns his own place. None of his staff have tattoos by coincidence
what’s so wrong with tattoos
Visible tattoos**
Daniel Alvarado No one said there’s anything wrong with them ya numbnuts!
His beard is so thick he has a 5 o'clock shadow already.
Hahhahaha this was my first good laugh for today, awesome comment..
😂😂😂🤣
That's exactly what I was thinking. His hair is so coarse.
Prinz Rudus Charner basically it’s when you shave in the morning and by 5 pm you already have stubble
Yes 1000th like
Look at that beard pattern. This guy hit the beard lottery for sure. No stupid swirls, just the stubble left from the buzz looked amazing.
He litteraly can't shave it off because it's that dense
@@kimifan1989 It's not because of no brush used, it's the shaving cream used. It's too dry and doesn't have enough slickness. The towel also didn't look like it was hot enough.
And he didn’t go against the grain which he should of
@@americanstreet8704 Mate, he has sensitive skin. He wouldn't be able to
Y’all must not have watched the video. Clearly talks about irritation and avoiding going too close
@@americanstreet8704 don't go again the grain, that's a great way to get razor burn. If it is sharp enough, it will cut
How do you still have stubble even after shaving your beard off with a straight razor???
I think my beard was literally growing back as the shave happened.
- Jack
@@Beardbrand Or maybe you just have a super thick beard haha
He's a werewolf
because he didn’t shave against the grain
Light skin + Dark facial hair = always having that shadow
This is why I love my Gilette Mach 3. By the time this guy completes the pre-shave prep, I would've had a brilliant shave with Mach 3.
I'm going to say this. Been using both for over 30 years. The straight is a huge leaning curve holding angles right, maintaining edges, not nicking, getting BBS, as to the Mach 3 its flexible and commercial sharp and just glides in seconds plus has the lubricating strip and bends with the contours of the face. The straight you have to adjust accordingly. Especially the jaw line chin and upper lip. It's not as comfortable in some areas as the Mach 3. I do everything from face to manscape with a straight. I like the challenge. Does it come close? Depending on the day ...😅 Strop your Mach 3 and you can make one cartridge last for well over a year.
@@tommyharris5817 Try this. Get some old or new denim material and cut it 3 to 4 inches wide by 2 to 3 feet long. Load it with Mother's Mag Polish and backstrop the Mach 3 razor on it about 30 times then strop it on some smooth leather that should clean up the blades.
Recipe to wet shaving. Brush and a good soap shaving and a DE razor (you can always use a pre shave as well to improve the slickness in your skin and avoid irritation and burn shaving). Make a good lather with your brush and soap. You can use a bowl or simply do face lather. Now, 1. Shave with the grain, rinse with hot water. 2. Lather again and shave across the grain, rinse with hot water. 3. Lather and this time shave against the grain, rinse with cold water to calm down the skin and close the pores. 4. Splash your hands with after shave, spread in your face and you're ready to go.
Jack, you are an incredible asset to Beardbrand!! You’re an intelligent, well-spoken and thoughtful young dude and you definitely lend tons of credibility and relatability to the brand through your videos!!! Great job!! 👍🙂
I wonder if he's left beardbrand... No videos from him after this one
Jack has a 5 o clock shadow 1 sek after shaving
That looks like that Feels Good, Chill, Laid Back Relaxed, maybe a Glass a Henny and just having someone Shave you with a Straight Razor,
SLICE OF PARADISE
From Celtic barbarian to Roman emperor
Sacrificial Lamb loLLLLL
Damn! you can tell he’ll grow back a full beard within 7 hrs tops lol
Trim's the beard: He has beard left
Shave's the beard: HE STILL HAS BEARD LEFT
Lmao he has God tier beard genetics, his beard is actually quite similar to mine.
Jack is one of those very lucky men who looks fantastic with or without a beard. IMHO, most men look far better with substantial facial hair, unless their beard is patchy, or they just don"t have the genes to grow one. If you can, guys, grow it, keep it and love it!
Before a grew a beard I would love to hit the barbershop for a straight razor shave. So relaxing for sure! At least now I can get a line up all the way around to enjoy the experience but the full treatment is nice to get also. Looks great Jack. Thanks for the video.
havent seen his beard for a while, wow it was the best version of his beard for me, nice !
This dudes so swaggy!!! I’m so happy to see his come up into odphadez, love the consistent work... and hold on a second that boy Carlos was BLURRRY!!! Hahaha fir videos
Getting the right shave/shaving properly is a skill in it's own
Great look for jack I've had that done many times it feels amazing
Imagine having this beard in a job where you have to be clean shaved and have to carry a couple of razors in your pocket so you don’t get fired 😂🤣

Finally! I think Jack looks awesome, when he rocks the clean shaven look :)
I'm not even gonna lie, if Jack keeps his hair like this, he would rock a goatee
i went full shaven a month ago never again
Same, exactly a month ago..looked shit and like I was 15, never again.
I feel you lol
Dale, No Power tools! Why do y’all hate looking young? Clean-shaven is better IMO. Society just thinks that beards are trendy.

@@IWantToMature85 I have a beard because I can't be fucked shaving.
@Beardbrand Jack, I'm having trouble finding the videos you did that were general advice for life that I found very helpful. Are they in a different playlist or something I am overlooking? Thank you so much for all of the solid information you give to people that can really use it!
Damn Jack! I remember the time when your mustache was so thin and look at it now man. A really good progress
Honestly I think that you are one of the few men that looks good with and without a beard.
What a great looking guy! Incredible improvement. May everyone else do the same.
This dude went from being on ghost recon wild lands to Ben Shapiro
Daegan loLLLLL
all of it's gonna grow back in 10 seconds like in the simpsons when homer shaves
He would look like Freddy mercury if he just had a mustache
You gotta give the beard brand guys major credit, they shave their beards but all have amazing genetics. They can grow some half decent facial hair in under a year. Unfortunately for myself I’ve been growing for 5 years and still can’t get to what Erik has in a few months haha! The faith is there though. It’s all time and growing. I just couldn’t imagine shaving and then getting a half decent beard again in under a year. I’m going until I can braid my face like Einar Selvik!
People: Dont worry man, I have patchy beard myself
These people:
I just love a bearded man shaven down to the core, and he couldn't look more handsome by doing so!!
i have to agree, when i first shaved myself with a straight razor, it was a game changer. next thing i know i'm buying the bowl, good shaving cream, a brush to apply, the whole nine. seriously lol.
saves a whole lot of money vs the cartridge crap. i also bought a safety razor that came with 100 new blades, that was years ago and i still haven't had to buy anything for them. i usually keep a beard but sometimes go through shaving phases or every once in a while just shave it off to restart, but still, straight razor shaving is superb
Jack the smooth and clean man. Haha love the new look my friend
Fun video! Great Barber skill Francisco, I still need to get a straight razor shave once in my life.
Next video: " My first mullet" 😂
I remember shaving my beard after about a month. As it grew back back my skin was so irritated and kept itching
Awesome! Thanks for sharing your skills!
From Jack to Jackie in 20 minutes.
I just laughed when he took the foil shaver out.
Imagine paying a lot of money for a fancy shave and he uses a thin lather and a foil shaver afterwards
@@Atomic2998 Such a ripoff. They will claim that hygiene laws require it. Bullshit its just a fuck ton cheaper and don't require the skill to strop and hone. A cheap amateurs tool.
@@jamesthigpen9330 Not really, a shavette with a good blade will give a comfortable and close shave, but you shouldn't use a half assed lather and a foil shaver, for that he would shave at home, if the client has sensitive skin only do one pass and use a sharp blade
@Max Powers Yeah
Me gustó, sube más vídeos el procedimiento completo, saludos desde Tizayuca HGO México.
Jack like hair is a grower!! Great video and I’ve got to say that jack is a handsome man. Keep the clean look for a bit and keep er lit 🔥🇮🇪 xx
He looks good both ways. It’s impressive that he had such a nice thick beard, some guys can’t even grow one.
Invest in a feather razor with the pro guard blades for a smooth and more comfortable shave. You could also follow up with a foil shaver.
1:58 his reaction is too niceee...
I like this look on you, even your face just after he shaved the beard off before the razor. You look 100% more approachable.
I guess it’s safe to say “his eyebrows are on point”
How do those shaving cream dispensers work? Does it put a certain amount or do you hold a button or is like a soap dispenser? Also is it foam or cream?
Yay!!! You need to use the straight razor so that it’s short enough for the foils to do the rest
I just recently went back to clean shaving I love it, feels amazing especially if you get a barber that cleans and washes your face and at the end some nice after shave lotion
Okay I know it's Beardbrand, but OMG you look so good without your beard! I thought so last time you did it too...that dimpled chin is gorgeous!
So satisfying to watch beards being shaved step by step.
dude will nevr see a patch in his life. what a beard.
One thing Francisco Alba and I have in common when straight razor shaving is we both choke up on the blade. What we don't have in common is as Francisco Alba goes back and forth with the blade across the clients entire face. I do a 3 pass shave with normally one stroke per pass. I have the blade on my face a lot less, hence, no razor burn..interesting
out of curiosity, what's the point of getting a hot shave if you're just going to use a foil straight after?
I thought the exact same thing!
@@fergotti its kinda tradition in true barbering. shits moving to a whole other direction with the convenience of foil shavers being used in every place, shadowing the original experience of going into a traditional barber shop and getting a relaxing shave. so its dope to see francisco practicing his craft in effort to give the guest a good experience rather than rushing the service n just running foils against the face
Jack with the "The Office" look 😂😂😂
This video made Sad Carrot happy with 2 subs❤️
It would be cool if you could but info on what brand of clippers and trimmer and what not into your videos of what barbers are using while they work. Just a thought.
Meanwhile I'm laying on the bed thinking how to thicken my beard. 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
Only way is to get open razor shaves like this at least 4 5 times it will come back ticker every time
@@ganjaman5180 I don't think it's true and really about using open razor
@@ganjaman5180 that's the biggest myth out there. Age and genetics are the 2 answers. No oil or nothing will improve it.
God damn why is that me Rn
@@ganjaman5180 this bullshit was never confirmed scientiffically, Minoxidil on the other hand will get you the density.. no ad, just helping out the poor beardless
Hi, which shaver will you recommend?thanks
He looked handsome with beard 🧔
You’re the kind of guy that you look good both ways my friend........
@BeardBrand What if I shave every other day or once in three days. Is it okay to use just lather and not do the other steps (hot towel, rubbing lotion, etc.)?
Of course! The process of using a hotel towel, pre-shave oil, etc. is typically reversed for the full barbershop experience.
When you're at home, a simple lather and shave (especially right after a shower) will work just fine. And here's a little tip, our Utility Bar works great as a shave soap if you haven't tried it yet!
- Jack
@@Beardbrand Thanks for the reply, Jack! And not sure, but I don't suppose you guys ship globally? Anyways I'll be stateside next year, will make sure to check it out then. :)
I'm very fascinated with the fact that most guys can go with the grain and be very smooth. I need to go against the grain to be smooth... and I don't have a lot of beard. But my beard growth starts to itch pretty much after one or two days and I don't use razors anymore since I started to use One blade. Is my beard hairs made of iron or what?
I love this fresh look 😍
Another awesome video! Lookin' sharp, Jack!
Thanks, John!

You're welcome, Jack. Take good care!
More straight razor shaves please! and some mustaches also
he grow and shave his beard like every month
Every week actually!
Well done both. Jack you look your age now. 👍🏼🇬🇧
I would use babylis gold FX trimmers and use a foil shaver to get a bleeding free comfortable smooth shave.
He looks good both with and without beard. Great barber.
Francisco is one of the best barbers around, no doubt!
- Jack
Gotta give it to him, as a barber, that’s a tough shave
Got me so relaxed & the shaving sounds 😴
Watching this makes me want to shave...
Franksta281 you’ll regret it
Me also😂
Nice shave. With his sensitive skin, I’m curious as to what he used on his skin post-shave. The clip went straight to the foil after the straight razor.
I have similar skin, Nivea after shave balm works great for me.
Obrigado 😁
His beard will not be denied..he's got that Turkish/middle eastern ultra dense beard that just dares you to shave it....tomorrow morning ...full beard....you just don't challenge that kind of shadow and not have follicular retaliation....one must respect and even fear the beard!!!
So I’m wondering why you wouldn’t just lead with the foil shavers? (As they get closer to the skin)
First cut it down with trimmers and then foil shavers? Why go for the straight razor first?
I guess some guys like the experience. Shaving with an electric, you can do that at home, too. I completely understand men who go to a barber for a straight razor shave, either as a regular wellness ritual or just to find out how it feels to have such a dangerous object dragged over your face, including the throat. To feel like your grandfather or great-grandfather -- depending on how old you are and where you grew up. In Europe, self-shaving with a straight razor was a popular practice until the economic revival of the 1950s. Safety razors to be used with disposable blades existed, but they were expensive, and some people considered the disposable blades a waste of money. Since razor blades were not stainless steel at that time, you could re-sharpen them for a few more uses yourself -- small matchbox-like implements with tiny hones and paste were sold for that purpose. My great-aunt learned how to shave with a straight razor -- it was a common task for apprentices, like washing hair. I learned how to straight-shave because I wanted to know how it feels to shave somebody else in a really traditional way.
He looks super cute with the 5 o'clock shadow
Hey Jack you should play around with some short goatees or mutton chops sideburns if your planning on keeping a cleaner look!
Please let me know the trimmer you use. I wanna buy it. Please respond
love the sound of the electric razor....
Great way to wind down for the night
I love the way you brush the skin after the beard has gone 😂
A barba escondia a sua beleza . Agora nota 10 👍😍
Nice tutorial. Gave you a like :) i am going to start barber school pretty soon.
This is so relaxing I might fall asleep!
Jack is back!!!! Yay!
What did he do at 4:45. What voodoo is this. I always struggle with the bent sides after splitting a DE blade in half. Looks like he's so easily just knocked off the edges....Well, gotta try this the next time I shave with my shavette!
If you shave, it grows back thicker and darker. Jack is living proof. The barber just shaved his face and his beard is already growing back thicker and darker.
I love that you can see the dimples in his cheeks now! Very handsome!
Looking good!
whats the brand of the clipper used in the video?
I pay 21 for a shave is a 4 tip good? I always get weird vibes as if I’m not tipping enough when I go
His beard grows faster than Jack's beanstalk.
O.5 guard suited u well jack super thick stubble like my own😀👍within 5 days ill be at 3mm lenght after complete shave.
You'd be surprised how much it's already come back (we filmed this on Monday)
