These men look so much younger and sharp without the facial hair. Just a personal preference, but I’ve always preferred a clean shaven man where his facial features can be seen, not to mention how nice it feels to the touch. A man’s jawline, his upper lip and chin… it all just adds so much to his overall look, where otherwise it’s all hidden under hair. When I see a man with a full mustache and beard, I tend to feel like he’s subconsciously hiding under it! These transformations were awesome for me personally. 😊

Had to recently do the same here for a good cause though. I am Healthcare worker and my N95 mask would not fit properly otherwise. The initial reactions in the ICU where are work were of shock and disbelief. It actually lifted our spirits. Glad to see I am not alone.

Grew my first beard at 30. I've had some form of facial hair ever since. I'm 52. It's fun to grow and shave. I always feel like I get it to the perfect look and then I shave it.

I am a pretty good looking guy or so I've been told, with a beard. We are not hiding anything. It's part of our face, do you see how thick it is? That is not really meant to be shaved off like some stray hairs women have, just like people with full heads of hair don't shave their head normally, or their eyebrows, etc. Once you have one for a while and realize it's part of your face, you don't really want to shave it off anymore, especially if you have a decent one that's not patchy etc. All these guys quickly went back to beards I believe.
Girls just need to get used to it and stop expecting 'clean shaven' and boyish looking men. I'm not saying you, but if a woman (who is of an ethnic group where men have beards) can't accept a beard on a man, she may want to examine her sexual orientation, or at least her social conditioning.

For the record, I have been married to the same guy since 1989. I have only seen pictures of him without a beard. He was under 20, still in the navy. Looked just like a leprechaun. Not sure what I’d think of his face now if he shaved, but the situation is not going to arise.

I LOVE a man with a trimmed beard and neat hair. It's when they let them go shaggy that they are NOT attractive. Used to love when my hubs would grow his beard out, and it was always so shocking when he'd shave it all off. One year, he went full Grizzly Adams, and I told him "never again". He shaved it off in stages and had quite the "Mark Twain" stache going. He could grow a full beard in a week - used to make the guy's in his shop jealous. These guys do look SO much younger without the beards though.

But not masculine. Women are attracted to beards whether they admit it or not. There's an evolutionary reason men have beards, part of it is because it appeals to women at an animalistic level. Clean shaven guys are friend zoned and like a gal pal, not someone who excites them in that way.

All these guys are good looking guys - nice looking faces both ways. I dated a luscious beard who totally changed when he shaved - def looked more handsome and rugged with the beard because he was fairly heavyset. My husband now is so handsome no matter what he wears or if he grows his hair and beard or cleanshaven, he is smokin' hot!
