Can you turn off hdr when recording/encoding/uploading? It is unwatchable on new macbooks pro with hdr screens and yt has no option to turn hdr (you can only change display profile which is a hasle to do for a video). Thanks! And love your channel! :)
I have 3 sets of superteams. Then I had a bike that came with Bontrager Aeolus 5s, really cant tell the difference. Nice wheels.
I got a tubular 5spoke superteam wheel almost a decade ago for track racing, and that thing is perfect. Perfect balance light and stiff. Superteam always punch well above their weight 👍
funny, although it is track, it's still from the rim brake era, AND it's tubular
@@savagepro9060 not rim brake, it has no brake track. You can tell it doesn't have the layup or structure to accept the force of a rim brake and probably not the heat either

@@savagepro9060 that's why I corrected your mistake. When I purchased the wheel, I chose the bolt on track hub instead of the disc brake hub, but it would have been the same wheel otherwise. It's not from a "rim brake era" whatever that means.
I’m an old guy and realize the criteria for what’s good and what isn’t changes over time, but as someone who has built his own wheel sets for over 40 years, I’m mildly shocked that these didn’t go right on a truing stand and then a dishing gauge followed up by a tension meter to see how well they are in true and properly dished and then tested to see how even the spoke tension is which tells volumes about how long they’ll last. So how about it?

The dimple on the rim resemble the thread pattern on a Gp tyre. 😅 probably for aero gain as gp4k thread pattern is proven to be the most aero tyre ever
It looks great! I also have a set of Superteam wheels and have had them for 2 years with no issues.
Two years too no issues yet
I had superteams back when they first came on the market and they held up great. The brake surface wore down and I had to get rid of them but that will happen with any rim brake wheel. I'd have no problem picking up a pair of these, but I wish the logo was smaller/less visible like in the style of the Reserve wheels that come with Cervelos. My favorite of the original superteams was that they had no logos at all, and that would be a nice option with these.
I think that a few minutes with a hair dryer in the low setting and those stickers come off easily...
I have purchased a set of non-logo Superteam wheels in the past few months and they are still working fine for me.
HI! Im probably going to buy the amazon 360-something off of amazon. They list the two rim width option as 23&25, I take it that those are the external width? What are some typical tires that you have seen people fit them with?? Thank you so much.
I had 2 pairs and they were perfect! Great budget wheel. I did not have this version though
I have been running 2 sets of Superteam wheels for a few years now - a 45mm and wider internal diameter (24mm) 38mm with their CX6 and CX4 hubs. Both have been really durable good value and after about 3000 miles I just replaced the front bearings on my gravel set with new cartridge bearings - so yeah.
Before Zipp or Drive or Hyper - Superteam has been around a long time.

They include them when buying the wheels they said. They just didn’t put them in mine

From an aesthetics point of view, the old Superteam logo looked more sporty. If I got those I'd probable take the logo off. Are those decals or screened? I'm guessing decals.

I’ve been running two sets of ST wheels for 2 years now and just built my new Elves Eglath Pro with a set of plain black 60’s, No decals. Zero issues

The Winspace's have a far better looking finish imho. I'd rather pay a bit more for them. Also the logo font on these wheels seem a little dated.

I have a set of $400 superteam 50mm carbon wheels for rim brakes. They've been pretty good so far in terms of reliability and performance over the aluminum wheels I replaced (also about 1.8 pounds weight savings). I've ridden them on rough roads at good speeds (30-45 mph on canyon descents that don't require constant braking) and doing small jumps over bumps on the road, speed bumps etc on a regular basis. But man, for a premium pricetag the wheels you are featuring in this video just don't visually appeal. If I were to give them feedback, I would say use a better font and finish for the text, perhaps in cursive. The text would look better if it were smaller on the wheel as well. I would also prefer a glossy or raw finish with the carbon fibers exposed instead of a matte. Given my positive experience with my current wheels, I'm sure they perform well for the pricetag, but they don't look like they cost $1200.

I do have a set of cheaper superteam bought of their website. In all honesty they are not a bad set of wheels. They are not a pair of Princeton carbon works but they are a great for training rides.

I'm disappointed all wheels in this price range from China do not offer hookless rims. I thought the hookless designs made manufacturing these rims cheaper. Maybe a chicken and egg problem? (available tires for hookless rims)
Honestly I’m a bit scared of the hookless technology. I have heard of hookless tires blowing off even when on recommended pressure. Not to mention the limited amount of tires that can be used on hookless

Lately it seems to be an impressive effort of Chinese brands to push their products on social media. The only reason I purchase products from very well known brands or products 100% made in US or EU is the consistency (I underscore the consistency word) of their quality check. In a very well known opaque China, I'll have no trust in any product from a Chinese company.
Perhaps I am mistaken and they are and will always be at the topmost quality, but I value my life more than the premium I pay for US or EU companies.
