I take it you are not a designer. Open props don't seem safe unless you use designated helicopter or drone pads for take offs and landings in urban areas.

Interesting concept, I'm however concerned about how safe it will be to deploy it in close proximity to other vehicles. If it only deploys with a wide radius of open space then helicopter does the same..
I figure it will be electric because XPeng, so the range will definitely suffer
It could be fueled by hydrogen and it has sensors to prevent collision with other objects

I think a pickup truck form factor (with the rotors tucked in the bed when not in use) would look more streamlined and have a better drag coefficient. The weight distribution may be a challenge, but I don't think that's something a company like XPeng can't overcome.
And what would be used as the truck bed to, you know, for hauling shit?

I hate when companies release new products when 0 physical work has been done. This will likely never come out and when it does no one’s going to want it or regulations will be so strict that it will be surpassed by better technology before it could ever be legal in countries that matter, monetarily

C’mon, we have had flying cards all this time, it’s called helicopters, the fact that they just changed the shape to be car like it’s ridiculous, if we want “flying cars” we just need more affordable helicopters and start thinking of the infrastructure necessary , which is the most important part, also, most car crashes aren’t lethal, these flying cars would make fatal crashes the daily news
helicopter is far more dangerous flying machine, since it's has only 1 main rotor vs 8 rotors of XPeng, hence you'll have 7 parachutes when one rotor failed
