Speaking of racism in the community: I follow a Black silicone doll artist who wanted to do a giveaway. One of the white commenters asked if she could have a “Caucasian” baby, as she is also Caucasian and would probably bound with the baby a lot better. The artist that to politely shut her down and say that it’s a giveaway, not a giveaway custom. What you get is what you get. I was gobsmacked at the white audacity, but was extremely proud of the Black reborn silicone artists for putting her foot down! I’m pretty sure it was Erica’s Reborn Nursery who did that. Love her videos!
But also it’s a giveaway so don’t enter the giveaway if you don’t like the doll. If someone is nice enough to give you something for free you either 1. Don’t complain about it or 2. Don’t accept it.
Omg love this video. So glad to hear someone talk about things are actually important. Advertising to children is a big one too that i think is an interesting angle. Regardless this video is great. Love your channel.
I've noticed that people inside the community love to attack each other over petty things while simultaneously ignoring the bigger problems that actually affect the bigger part of the community. The racism is so digusting and blatant but when you talk about it suddenly everyone wants to hold hands and sing kumbaya. It's funny in the worst way possible.
12:11 i remember there was a video a while back, where someone was discussing their “frustrations” about making Black dolls and how “difficult” it is… it was so odd and clearly had some micro-aggressive motives. 😵💫
There always is. There was this wh!te creator that said “blk reborns are hard to make pretty, that’s why I don’t do them”. So I just thought she meant she had no experience making blk reborns so it would be difficult to make them realistic with so little experience. But when another commenter asked her to elaborate on what she meant, the artist said she doesn’t see a lot of beautiful blk babies she could use as a reference to paint a blk reborn…I forgot the artist name but that’s not the first time I’ve seen some artist say some of those things. They always go on abt how “impossible” it is to make them and it “takes a special type of person and skill” to make a blk reborn/silicone. Honestly I’m not surprised. That’s why I will learn to paint my own. I would not want to give money to people like that.

Don't we wish the community would talk about real issues. Thank you for being you. I'll watch a real creator. Before the everything is sunshine and rainbows creator. I have to admit this green guy. Did much more research than most do. He still didn't get it quite right.
I have just seen your video I have to say what people use to feed the dolls such as formula as long as it is out of date. I don’t see a problem but at the end of the day whether they use just plain powdered milk or coffee whitener not everyone can use fabric softener. A lot of people are actually allergic to it. I am one of those people that is very allergic to it and at the end of the day if somebody owns a doll and no one is paying their bills who’s anybody to dictate what somebody can do with their doll it’s no one’s business, but the person that owns that doll and they are free to do whatever they like people that take their dolls out and role-play with their dolls you know are usually not extreme people and I resent the word extreme everyone does these dolls for their own reason and deal with the dolls in their own way if they choose to take them out all the power to them for having the guts to just walk out and show off their hobby those they keep them in cupboards behind glass doors or two afraid to take them out that is their problem, but at the end of the day it comes down to nobody has the right to speak out about anyone or anyone’s dolls how they deal with their dolls how they treat their dolls, how they dress their dolls, what they feed their dolls if people don’t like it, they don’t have to watch their videos, but people in the community need to also mind their own business because it’s upsetting when the doll community went from an adult hobby to a bitch session of everybody picking at everybody else because of what they have, or how they treat that doll it is ridiculous. This is an adult hobby at the end of the day. We’re all adults my word to all grow up and mind there own business no one tells you how to life and no one has the right to tell anybody else how to live how to act we are all born with freewheel and if we do something wrong we will pay the price but no one is put on this earth and given the power of God to judge, unless you yourself want to be judged.

I think I know which CZcamsr you are talking about and yes, she is a toxic person who has been known to spread some dangerous theories and yes, is acting pretty inappropriately. Keep doing what you're doing - love the babies, by the way! Letting the ads run for you so you can hopefully see some CZcams $$$!💗💗💗
We already get weird looks in the store and get picked on online for our reborn hobby so why should there be drama in the reborn this is something I will never understand
