If anyone's gonna spend $129 on makeup, spend them on Clionadh eyeshadows. They make the best multichromes, there's no comparison.
I spent more with Clionadh and not disappointed.
I gotta say the Terra Moon multichromes are pretty damn good as well and they're cheaper than the ones by Clionadh. So if you're on a tighter budget, I'd suggest going for Terra Moon instead.
That’s why I dropped more money than I should have and have been patiently waiting...no regrets 👌🏻
Actually new Devinah ones are as good as Clionadh, cheaper and better shipping! I would recommend Devinah before Clionadh as I have no patience!
The liquid multichromes the new ones from Denona are fantastic. My favourite is Scarab and dragonfly

At this point, it's definitely not about "needs." 😅 I don't really do anything or spend much for entertainment, so makeup is where my dollars go! It's like investing in art supplies, for me. I'm not good enough at art to have fun with it, so makeup is my fun, creative outlet. 😉
@@Acidfunkish I used to smoke, make up is cheaper it is €14 a pack in Ireland and I used to smoke nearly 2 packs a day multiply that a week and I could have a Denona palette and have some change. Now my make up collection has become a cheaper and healthier habit.

Came for the Natasha review, left with a Clionadh shopping list LOL It's a beautiful palette but it's $175 here in Canada. If I'm spending that much, I'm going to do it on specific shades I love from indie brands because for me the multichromes were what was drawing me to it. Thanks so much for the review!

I received my first Clionadh order today and they are absolutely gorgeous. They kept me updated with the order progress, and in the end it only took 7 days to get to me in England all the way from Canada. I’m very impressed and definitely recommend them!
Clionadh does not ship on time, you’re better off going to a brand that actually cares about thier customers like Devinah or terra moon

One of my big issues with Clionadh (of which I own many and ordered a few more before they closed for the month, but in lighter shades is texture. They are beautifully made shadows, but that much foil can really emphazise texture for me, especially with a lot of matte shadow framing. So I have to wear them in very specific ways and am probably giving most of my impactful dark shades to someone younger and keeping the lighter shades. It's a huge part of why I'm willing to spend so much money on ND's formulas. They may be the best multichrome on a 25 or 35 year old eyelid, but they are not on a 44 year old eyelid. My reason for being less interested in this palette is that it's so matte heavy. But like with Tropic (where I rarely use the metallics because the formula is off) i find the mattes really compelling and the trios a bonus. It helps that I love green, purple and yellow shadows. I love your look.

This is what the hair stylist has said : "I went with a kind of south-western Pancho Villa woman revolutionary look, which is what that is. The buns are basically from turn-of-the-century Mexico," Lucas told Time in 2002. It makes sense to look to such a band of women when creating a character far removed from a traditional princess awaiting rescue” Bantu knots have a lot more knots. A lot of traditional African/African American hair styles are appropriated but I don’t consider this one of them.
Edit: I’m not saying Bantu knots aren’t appropriated I’m saying that space buns aren’t an appropriation of Bantu knots

I bought it mostly for the mattes too lol even though I rarely wear mattes, but knowing how good ND’s mattes are and those pastels 😍 also how the bottom right quad in the palette matches PMG’s Fleur Fantasia quad perfectly.
This colour story is wonderful... This is colourful done right! Also Tungsten is a metal, so basically exists in every language ;)
Its another name for wolfram, and calling it tungsten is indeed Swedish (thats 'heavy rock') :)

So I just checked a few languages and it seems to be half and half 😂😂 I only knew about latin languages who all use the root "tungsten"

I do think this a great way to introduce multichromes to people who aren't in the indie community. It gives great matter to pair with the multichrome shades but the price is just too high. I just hope it sets a trend of more mainstream brands making multichromes.
I've seen so many tutorials on this palette. Never cared. Until yours. Now im in love. You are amazing. I loooove this look so much.
The only multichromes I own are the three pressed ones from Sydney Grace. I love them but what intrigued me most about ND is that they don't have a black base. Combine that with my love of all things ND when it comes to eyeshadows and I jumped all over this palette. Tracking says it's out for delivery right now so.....

Exactly! This is what people don’t get. The lack of a black base is what makes the Natasha Denona ones better and more special and I think more flattering on the eyes.

I tried the technique you do where you put the dark color in your crease first and then blend out the edges with your transition shade. I love it! I have trouble with things getting muddy and too blown out, and this helped me have more control and stay mindful of the shape I was creating.

Have fun with it-I just got it this week, too, and I LOVE it. I know people thought it was hit or miss, but I’ve tried half the colors so far and I love it. (I really think Angie ought to grab the Safari palette while it’s on sale, since she’s interested in mattes!)

Angie another great video! I have most of ND large palettes (including the crazy $$$ big ones) and Triochrome is amazing! I also love the number of mattes and the first purple look I did blew me away and lasted all day! Another big hit! Can’t wait to do a green look today! Love the comps at end! ❤️

I'm excited to get this palette. I honestly bought it for the color story, not really for the multichromes. I own three MC from Devinah, they are good and shiny but I'll be honest, on my eyes they don't work that well anyways cause I have hooded eyes. I used to only like really strong metallic shadows, but as I'm aging my eyes are not as easy to work with, so I appreciate a softer sheen. I can't wait to play with this, should be here today! Thanks for the comparisons!
Turn your multi chromes into coloured liners! I have hooded eyes too and did this with one of my Clionadh shadows and it looked really good.

It’s too expensive for me, but I love hearing what you think. I’m surprised to see on video, it looks a lot more pastel and bright, when the promo shots looked grungy.
I bought the palette as well, and also for the mattes more than the multichromes. Her mattes are life! I'm so excited for the colors in this palette, its such a shift from her usual warms, pinks, and neutrals. I love it
The absolute best look I've seen with this palette! I think the palette would have benefited from one or two deeper matte shades. For contrast and dimension. 😊

Those mattes are pretty. Another brand to try for multchromes is Chaos. They are Latina owned from Texas, and the shadows are gorgeous. June Bug is my personal favorite color that shifts green, gold, orange and blue and is very shiny and impactful. Check them out on IG.

Yes! That is where I recognize it from as well. I’m American and we use tungsten lamps in our microscope and some of our chemistry analyzers at the hospital lab.

The colours are so beautiful! And thank you for showing the size difference between the large and midi palettes - it's impossible to tell online, and I'm not going out to shops just to look at them. ;) I think the price is much better for the midi, but I want this one so badly!!! Also, as a Canadian, I can confirm your French pronunciation.
