I hope this video has made all the JBL fanboy kids cry. It’s just a debug move that makes it sound distorted and turns off the digital signal processing, limiters, etc.
I think the Amp in it even does more then that 4.5 watts so maybe at best the speaker might be rated at 5 watts but yeah 300 watts said "I've become death destroyer of worlds"
It's possible you shorted your connections also because they were loose if you're going to say something like this or commit to a project make sure everything it's not compromisable besides your variable
