Hi Sbahle. Thanks for such a great video. What do you think of recruiting companies where you as an ESL teacher actually sign with that specific company and then once you're in China you then go look at schools and sign with a school in China? So the teacher is basically going to be paid by the recruiting company and sing a contract with them, and possibly also with the school once they are in China. Thanks! xx🌻

I have a diploma in Public Relations as well as a higher certificate in event management, currently I am doing my TEFL COURSE, when applying is it a strict requirement to have a degree or are other qualifications applicable?
For most teaching jobs in China, Yes, they need a bachelors degree. But there are other Asian countries like Thailand, South Korea that offer jobs to diploma holders.
At that time I thought EF was great when I read their website

Apply!!! A scammer/ red flag is a school that asks you to pay for a job or agent in China.

Hi Sbahle, I really need advice. I am doing my research to apply to teach English in China, because the recruiters have not notified me about the borders being closed. Should I wait or should I just apply to another country?
Definitely apply to other countries too, expand your options and see what else is out there. China is in a tricky place at the moment and you don't want to stay waiting and miss out on other awesome opportunities around the word.

Few months left of my degree and I already have my TEFL. Waist-deep in research. But with China bathi it's difficult to get in and ofcourse the PU letters. If there is someone who can shed a bit of light on getting in now it'd be helpful cause I'm looking towards February 2023 intake.

It’s R400 via Postnet, however the cache is, it takes about 30 days.. Other agents charge those prices because it takes 14 days if you go through them…
