I'm 88 , my wife and I had the pleasure of seeing Roy Clark's show some years ago at the Keswick theater in Pennsylvania. One of the greatest guitar picker ever. Some of the stars on Hee haw sadly died at too an early age from heart attacks.
I met Don Harron (Charlie Farquason) 13 years ago in a small town diner. He remembered how TV critics were merciless about Hee Haw. "It's a summer replacement that needs a summer replacement."
Hee Haw was an every Saturday night program for our family. we always went skating at The Carousel skating rink in Huntsville Al after it went off. then after we came home ,after stopping at Krispy Kreme,we watched American Bandstand. I dont even watch TV now. i hasnt been turned on in a long time. all the quality programs ,or most, can be watched onutube.
The performers of Hee Haw, both living and those who are now resting peacefully in their final slumber, gave us the gift of laughter and good memories.

This show was really down to Earth. There's no shows like this on TV today. This show was fantastic may all the cast members rest in peace.
Best show ever! Miss all the great entertainers 😢
Roy Clark was one of the greatest virtuosos on stringed instruments that I HAVE EVER WITNESSED. Rest in peace oh great one.
Roy knows his way around a guitar...THE best.

I remember those cats as a little 1970's kid, it started (1969-1992). My parents and I love to watch Hee Haw.
Every Saturday night we watched this. Weren't allowed to talk while the show was on. Only during commercials. I miss you so much Daddy!!!

Buck Owens & that Bakersfield sound was awesome. RIP.
Roy Clark was one of the best guitarists ever. Great talent sad to hear of his passing. My thoughts & prayers go out to his family.
Oh where are you tonight, most cast are gone, Thanks for the memories.
Roy Clark, the bestest guitar player to ever walk this planet, will be missed.
My heart sinks when I see Stringbean...What a humble and gentle soul was he...and one one the best Bluegrass banjo players ever.
This was pure entertainment. Nothing comes close in today’s standards.
I remember watching that show as a child.
There will never be another show like "Hee Haw," sadly. Great tribute. Thanks!
Remembering my grandparents watching this when I was little.
