When I first heard this song, it hit me because I could truly relate. We all can feel like drowning in our worries and we feel that our life is out of control. This is one of my favorite songs. For a long time I was in a rough head space to where I felt like I was constantly feeling like I was left in the dark. Being in that space for me it felt like I was in prison and there were times I felt like I was losing myself to where I didn’t know who I was and it scared me. Being in the dark for me I felt like the more that I kept being dragged back to that place not only did I feel like I was distancing myself from my friends and family that truly loved and cared about me but it also felt like I was losing connection with God because I just wanted him to pull me out of there and keep me away from there for good. But after what I’ve been through what I went through God finally lifted me out of that dark place and brought me into the light and since than He’s blessed me with a lot of things and if it wasn’t for Him I wouldn’t be in the headspace I’m in now. I can honestly say that because of Him my relationship with Him is stronger and so is my faith. Kevin thanks for making this song it means so much to me and you’re one of my biggest inspirations. I love you and I pray that God will continue to bless you ❤️❤️🔥.
