This conversation offers a fantastic opportunity to sink into some of Frank Marshal’s distinctive work.
I am ever grateful to Frank for the gillions of hours he clearly puts into traversing America’s throw away landscapes. His doors and roads to nowhere invite stories on top of stories. They entreat us to stay and pay attention. Uncluttered and elegant views of what would otherwise be lost give us quiet places to see beauty, injustice, absurdity, community, tenderness. Love of country. No one digs that deeply into difficult subjects without love. Its deep hum pierces the noise of an increasingly chaotic world.
Bravo for sharing this wonderful work and thank you for spreading the word! (Word- not gospel! :)

Amazing insights into an Artists work and a photographers lens. I’ve know Frank since NYC - he spent time with me in to his dark room to teach me how to develop my film and share his love of the process - images which I still have. This guy is so humble about his art, work and skill. This is one of the best podcasts I’ve listened to. He is One of The Greats.
