Probably the same as when you started, because when you get skill points, you can choose what stats to use it on and then that makes your rating go up
So yeah it's completely manual and sim can't change that

Back in old fifa career modes, you could call them up by holding rb
you can change sliders to give opposition 0 pace, 0 goalkeeping and your players 0 shot miss. Plus, you could change alisson jumping and header stat
I scored with a gk last year on FIFA 23 World Cup mode, 90+2 france 1-0 down to australia and Hugo loris got a perfect strike and scored
