You guys had us on pins and needles as we watched from the deck!! You could tell we were all glad to see that tree go, as you could hear us cheering as it hit the ground!! It cost me 3500 when it's roots plugged my sewer 3 years ago ( daycare house). Then 2 weeks ago, the folks beside me felt the wrath of this beast. A few of us neighbors have wanted to see this gone for a long time. Thanks for finally putting an end to our misery!!!
I love the fact that Buckin never gets in a hurry! Takes his time and thinks the job through. Less mistakes that way. "The ox is slow but the earth is patient"
We were also watching because, we have been waiting for this beast to get taken down for a few years! FINALLY!!! And yeh, maybe we had our insurance companies on speed dial ;) ... naw just kidding. lol
I've said it before and I will again, you sir are a friggin artist. Even how you hit a wedge. I swear, back in the day had you chosen golf instead of firewood. You would have changed the game of golf. Thank you
I must say I was pleasantly surprised to see a logger who knows what he is doing. Not just that but the saw choices as someone myself that spent alot of years logging. I have done alot of jobs like this that make you get real nervous in the back side. Best saws I ever used was a husky 262 and a Stihl 066 those two saws laid out a awefully lot of wood. I loved the 262 for the medium and small stuff then went for the 66 when I came to trees over 36 on the stump. The 262 had a great power to weight ratio where the 66 was the heavy hitter when you needed it. You had a 266 which was just slightly bigger than my 262 I loved that saw but sadly I see they discontinued making it a few years back. Even though I am disabled I still get called on occasions to come cut trees no one else will. Got a couple popular trees that I need to cut this summer that's hanging over a church. Twin stumps so they could prove interesting but I have seen and done far worse.
Awesome take down. I could feel your thoughts, worries, commitment, the anxiety from the costumers as they don’t know what you know. Makes for a good Adrenalin rush. Life is good. Be safe.
the sound of the older stihl is unmistakable. love the way the two of you work together The guy i worked for had a 090 with a very long bar think it was 50 inches we had reserved for the big stumps, oaks that were 5 foot across the stump. that thing was heavy.
I am so glad to have stumbled upon this video. Awesome to see you and your son working hard (and intelligently) together. It's inspiring to watch as a new Father.
I stepped up yesterday based off your kindness and asking everyone to do at least one kind thing per month. Thank you for pushing me in the right direction and good morning from Indiana.
What a thing of beauty, father and son working together, doing the artful together, keeping people safe. Thank you for reminding me what is really important through the lockdown. Thank you Billy Ray.
Great job sir. I use to live to cut and split wood. It was a good stress reliever. Would've loved to had the videos 25 years ago. Love this stuff. Picked up another subscriber from Virginia. Now I've got to watch more of 'em. Thanks for the positive personality we need more of that. Stay safe and God bless.
That Buckin fella and his patent annoyingly perfect under cuts and signature rooster tail of displaced wood glitter .. its a pleasure to watch and be humbled by masters of their craft
Buckin, you’re a true master of your craft. It’s awesome your boy is following in your footsteps. Keep the videos coming, your positive messages are a welcome change to the stuff going on in the world today.
HO-LY COW! Oh, man, I was holding my breath! Had to let out a little cheer when it went! That was awesome! The precision was amazing! Great job, guys! Got me grinning from ear to ear. 😀😀😀
Good morning to all! I really enjoy these videos, as they help me to appreciate the amount of thought that goes into planning the fall, and the level of skill needed to do it safely. Thanks, Buckin'. Have a wonderful day, all !!! Be kind. If you have the opportunity, make someone's day a little brighter. ❤️✊🏻🌳
I've just subscribed and started watching your older videos and I really enjoyed this one in particular. What a beautiful display of skills at work! Awesome job, both of you! Love your positivity and energy, keep up the wonderful videos sharing not just your talent for tree felling but sharing and spreading kindness to others. THANK YOU, SINCERELY! The main thing I personally have learned from Buckin' is to slow down. I'm like a mad man with the saw and always in a hurry. Another thing, I never used wedges. Now I will.

We have been Subscribed for a while now, still working through your old videos. Watching this massive tree today was making me nervous for you. Like I said yesterday, work has been absolutely crazy and overwhelming. Watching your videos has helped me cope with all the stress and craziness. I have been wanting to just walk out of work and say I've has enough. I am one of the few that stayed working. Thanks again for all the support you give us. ❤
I am from West Virginia myself near the Parkersburg area spent alot of years logging. Like Billie Ray I still get calls now and then to cut a dangerous tree no one else will cut. Takes a ton of skill and experience to tackle these jobs. I been retired for awhile and just getting too old anymore but I still try and help people what I can.
I really enjoy watching you perform a precision drop. Taking the time to read the tree, as well the fall zone. Not just initially, but all the way through the drop. Having cut down many trees myself, I watch you work, and while it looks easy, I know for a fact, that it isn't. It's awesome what you do! Please keep up the wonderful videos and stay safe my friend! Tom
I’m surprised one of the m tronics failed. I know they had some with bad solenoids and wail back. They should be all good now. I have one with the m tronic carb and it runs perfect all the time and starts easy.
I've watched so many of your videos, I knew exactly what you were going to do and how it was going to go. I still enjoyed it immensely! Peace brother Billy!
Hey buckin! Im a young landscaper (of sorts) from australia and i just say that you are awesome! Love your work. And grateful for your advice. Thank you!
I watch your videos regularly and never comment. This one had something special about it. I found myself smiling several times when you two were pounding those wedges in. Well done.
@cetuspa Laughing my arse off!! I saw the piece fly, but missed the impact, too! Poor kid! Takes one in the marbles, but keeps on going! That's a Buckin' man-in-the-making!! Cheers, from Oregon, USA 🇺🇸 🌲

Love the 661 just got mine ported new exhaust and a Flow Max intake! My buddy Gorty at West Coast saw Phenomenal job! This saw feels like I can pull down a house! Incredible difference it makes! Now I need to find me an old 044/066! Cut more wood and trees with those two saws then any saw the face of the planet! Or just maybe a 3120 always loved the bigger saws don’t no why but just something about that torque that just keeps pulling you through it all! Gosh I love power saws! no way near Buckin’s experience but this guy is an absolute ace when it comes to felling 🙏
I know right? He just drops those bad boys. I almost always climb and rope them down because I don’t trust the tree or the weather.
