All what I want to say is how is Lizard Baraka a gold card
Baraka is OP and all. But the thing is for F2P players which is mostly the case, they are going to have F5+ MK11 Scorpion Jade and Sub0 before they max out Liz. Baraka. And that is where his credit goes down.
It's like owning a Ferrari but already having a upgraded Lamborghini.
So technically very less players can use his potential when needed. KC JC would be maxed, MK11 Scorpion would be F5+, while Liz. Baraka will be sitting at F5-.

That's why johnny always win because you can fuse him...pay to win characters I don't include in the conversation for best because most people won't have them at high fusion

I didn’t spend a cent on Golds and i have maxed the whole lizard team just get MK11 pack and his been in krypt a few times so has noob and Jade so its not a P2W team now.Onslaught Fujin is stuck behind a pay wall once the nest update he will be in there as will MK1 Shang in Diamond kasket.

Marksman Kung Jin probably the fastest chainer of all Golds not the best Gold but extremely underrated since he got buffed give him a go i think you will be surprised if you haven’t tried him yet Mand.Kool video BTW.

But there is no way FF LK is even close to Baraka who one has a passive that’s close if not the best passive in the whole game including diamonds 💎 vs
a average passive it’s not even close.Its a KO win for Baraka i don’t understand were his better sp1 not close power drain way better sp2 grabble vs fast puncher which can be blocked only leaves passives not close.

"If we talk about boss fight, in my opinion the best gold card (utility of the passive) is Klassic Noob in 99% of cases. He can chain SP2 up to 6 times, practically in average 3 times chain. Also he has power gen boost in his SP2 which can generate faster power for next SP2.
Moreover, Gunslinger Erron Black probably has the most powerful SP2 in the game but it is better to use with maxed "Soul medallion". When he breaks shield with first SP2, next one will be against an opponent with broken shield, also his SP2 is critical and unblockable (easily with 80% on mini-game). Critical SP2 against broken shield is OP.
It should be nice to test these two characters with Lizard Baraka in boss fights (but better not against Klassic Smoke or MK11 Subzero). Because KC Johnny in my opinion is very overrated character. He can never be better than Lizard Baraka.
Mand you forgot that baraka stacks his passive with each hit so with more time his damage increases thats why he always finished ahead of johnny against smoke
Im new so maybe this is stupid. But I am trying a build with spectral ermac and quan chi. it is weak on auto but essentially killing the starting character and reanimating with regen. has this been tested?

On klassic raiden please equip his brutality lightning epic and king Jarad’s spear.
All this combined klassic raiden should have 4 sources of lightning that will effect his basic attacks
Please help me w KCJC - is he better at higher fusion or something? I find him to be kinda slow and like all Johnny’s you need to be close to enemy to land sp1- any tips for me
Cancel combo Enders
When you aren’t in the corner you do the combo with a high kick and then do the first three hits of the next combo, using your sp1 instead of the combo ender. You can repeat this without getting hit. In the corner you do almost the complete opposite, do the full combo with the jump kick and then do the full combo with the high kick, then sp1. If the opponent has a bar of power then they can intercept you in the corner after doing the high kick combo ender, so don’t do that combo ender and instead hit them with your sp1. It isn’t super rare for you to finish a fight without taking any damage.
I get the argument you’re trying to make but I feel like none of this matters in almost all realistic situations. In what world would you have a maxed out kc Johnny and lizard baraka but not a diamond that is better? Or what about newer players like me who literally never have had the opportunity to buy ANY of the lizard or edenian golds.even if baraka is the best gold who cares because I would never use him because 1 he’s not a diamond and 2 he’s so ptw that 99% of people would max out mk11 scorpion before getting fusion 2 lizard baraka. I literally am proof of that. The lizard and edenian blood team are booty because you will NEVER max them out and use them before finding another diamond that does the same if not better job
I agree on that point. But try to focus on the message rather on the characters. Utility usually beats dmg
@@MANDMKI think the message would be more clear if you used diamonds instead of an extremely niche and rare character vs a very common gold. It just feels like comparing somewhat outdated gold character vs super bait for whales lizard baraka doesn’t seem right or fair. If you did classic rain vs classic liu lang that would make sense and be very even. Even mk11 scorpion vs jade but the variations of all golds fluctuate too much with power it doesn’t matter about utility. Older gold vs newer gold is too predictable but if you did with diamonds it’s not the same because classic Liu kang is super old and mk1 scorpion is new but who performs better? When I watch this video to me it just says newer gold character is super inflated with stats and abilities and older gold is outdated

@@MANDMK I did but I just don’t see a the realistic application of this concept to players like me who don’t test anything and just use the whatever they have at their disposal that is effective. I would never use a gold I’d use a diamond so the info is just like a fun fact rather than realistically useful
@@MANDMK at the end of the day I’m basically saying to make this video but with diamonds NOT golds that way the numbers and info are more usable and important when team building rather than deliberately choosing the worse choice of character imo

I will say. Dps in Mk Mobile is very complex and different than many rpgs. Dps in Mk mobile isn't just calculated damage and attack speed of character. But it's all combination of buffs, debuffs and so on. Not allowing opponents to hit makes our dps to be intact. If opponents does something our dps drops immensly. For example cripple and power drain doesn't increase our damage but acts as preventing from dps being hindered.
I will still go for johnny
if you want more proof that damage isn't everything, just look at the Ronin team lol
it took me years to get the right gear setup to supplement their longevity/utility so they aren't just glass cannons (Kitana wasn't too bad because she already has good health, toughness and power drain SP1)

You can easily get Johnny from kombat cup pack for 300 souls but not Baraka. I'd rather buy souls or epic equipment pack instead of Baraka. I thought the video was scorpion vs rain 😅.
