Originally, Baguio City was the retreat destination of the US soldiers during WW2, thats why we have CampJohh Hay former us military base, roads like kennon and burnham park named after their builders/architect.
Most tourists and locals from otger provinces dont know..
Fun fact: Baguio City/Cordillera highlands is the home of country music in the philippines.
