This was done during Covid so they filmed themselves at their homes. Tim couldn’t move as he was actually standing in a boat and was afraid he’d fall over. Adam was doing castanets in the last song. Austin majored in musical theater….can you tell? Yes, this was done in a TikTok style. It went viral during that time and attracted Ubisoft (gamemaker) to them and they asked them to write a new shanty for their new game Skull and Bones. You should check that one out. It’s a banger!

The editing of this was great & was done in the Tik Tok style. Love all the guys parts, with Tim's rumbling bass underlying it all. And Adam's beatboxing is phenomenal as always including sea swells & castanets. Amazing how he increased the tempo from one song to another.

If you want to see them all in costumes, Brother is the video for you. Other funny examples are Honey I'm Good, Between A Rock And A Heartache, Workin' For A Livin' or Thank Good I'm A Country Boy. They are all hilarious. They also did a professional recording of the Sea Shanty Medley. I can't remember if Chance goes through his entire range in one song, but in American Pie he gets high for a note or two, also in Ain't Going Down ('Til The Sun Comes Up) (on Facebook only). And in Hillbilly Bone or I Can't Outrun You he's going deep.
Sorry that you don't have headphones to listen to Home Free, everything they do is 2 times better with headphones if not more. You hear more of the sounds and even vocals. You really don't know what your missing, even ear buds are better than the computer speakers.
Yeah I always listen to the song when I edit the videos with my AirPods but because I record on my phone I can’t use the AirPods to listen stuff with and I can’t use my laptop with headphones or anything even when I get home because I don’t know how to edit a video like that. I guess I could try doing it with the music reactions and see what happens but if it turns out terribly then whatever that reaction is will be unusable most likely. Next home free reaction though I’ll try using my laptop
