  • Phil Schreier, Senior Curator at the NRA National Firearms Museum, joins John Popp on this segment of Curator's Corner. Phil shares exciting details about the new satellite museum, the NRA National Sporting Arms Museum at the Bass Pro Shops in Springfield, MO. He also introduces a new loan to the Museum in Fairfax, a Colt Single Action Army. This revolver is not your normal Colt SAA... John Wayne used for a number of appearances including Rio Lobo, True Grit, and more!
To find more than 10,000 zoomable images of the 3,000 firearms at the museum at the NFM's website, www.NRAmuseum.com. www.NRAnews.com. (Originally aired on Sportsman Channel Cam & Co. 3/25/13).

Thank you for showing and displaying this fine historical gun as well as giving a bit more insight to the services of the National Firearms Museum. I have never been there but it's on the bucket list and perhaps a satellite museum may one day open in Texas. Cabela's in Buda, Texas is a thought. OK, it's right next door to me! :-)
