Boy am I learning a lot. Didn't have a concept of the shallow, neutral and pressurized zone. Makes so much sense and now I know why more experienced players had the advantage on me. Also a big one I learned is getting back in position after hitting my dink. Before I just hung out where I hit my dink and stayed out of position. Thanks guys, really enjoy your videos.

Glad you’re liking the videos 👍. Pickleball is definitely a strategic game. Hopefully we can continue to give you the tools to have the advantage in that department.

Awesome! As always! I especially love the little guideline that if our elbow is fully extended, then we are reaching in too far! Great pearl of wisdom. Thx!!!

    Questions for clarity:
Does Stable mean that your body position is stable and not off balance or unaligned?
Does Location mean that your positioned in a good location for a counter?
The video says to stay above the yellow (while the ball is floating in the yellow in the diagram), this is confusing me. To push dink/punch, should the ball be in the green zone above the yellow or can you punch it when it is in the yellow?

You’re mostly right. The main thing to understand about “yellow zone” balls is that you can be aggressive but you can’t hit down. Since you can only hit the ball level, your aggression should be well placed and set you up for your next ball.

I’ve seen you dinking with a grip with your index finger well onto the paddle. Why and Why Not to use that grip?

Generally speaking, the higher the grip on the paddle, the more control and maneuverability you have.
