Sir, law and deterrence is needed to counter injustice. And it is wrong on judiciary to make laws based on how people will be impacted (that would be populism). Even if injustice happens to one individual, the judiciary's duty is to protect the rights of that individual.
Regarding Hindu women deserted by Hindu men, the divorce laws are in place to counter. The laws of inheritance, property sharing and alimony are way ahead of the muslim personal law. There might be a lapse in implementation and it might be difficult for women to take the help of the law due to the stigma in society. But that is a different problem, which also needs to be addressed and has nothing to do with making laws itself.
