Honestly I’m a psych student and I don’t even need to study this topic at the moment I just came to watch this stuff. So interesting and I love the drawings and the way you explain things. This should honestly be the default go-to channel on CZcams for medical education

I love how you explain everything. I'm adhd and your videos are short and perfect for full comprehensive of the subject matters. I swear, I understand more of what you teach in a 15 video than reading the material or sitting in lecture.

I'm currently assisting with teaching neuroscience for a cohort of Occupational Therapy students and found your channel! So wish I had found this when I was in grad school! Can't recommend your videos enough to the students and you help me immensely when I prepare for my lab classes that I teach! Thank you so much for making these and I aspire to be a great teacher like you both!

Thank you SO very much for this information! Such a greatly detailed explanation in a well crafted video, organized in a clear, concise manner. I graduated nursing school in 2009, and as I’m sure you’re aware, you basically get a brief overview in nursing school and then you get into your nursing specialty and that’s where you begin to learn-about that one specific area in which you work. In 2014, I was diagnosed with oligodendroglioma II and had a craniotomy. I have been on watch and wait since then, though I’ve had some reoccurrence. I’ve had to have MRIs every three months since then. Nobody, not even my most wonderful neurosurgeon whom I think the world of, has ever explained all this to me. I began having bad seizures in 2021, go figure, but they haven’t been able to determine where my seizures originate. This helps so much for me to understand and I pray it’ll help my family as well, especially in understanding how I got to be the way I am now with the all the many ABIs. God bless you!! ❤

Precise and perfect explanation in this short video!!! I liked you using the whiteboard instead of slides; makes a huge difference when grasping the content!!! I confirmed that my frontal lobe is functional as I am writing this comment ::)

Are hand skills and stuff only examples for the motor association cortex besides others? If not i ask myself where e.g. walking is processed as a sequence. Like "leg skills".

This has actually intrigued me for some years now and nobody actually could ever tell me if its actually possible. If a person doesn't have/loses the frontal and parietal lobe of the left hemisphere of the brain, can that person be "normal" so to say or what happens?

*Actually, since your talking about parts of the brain... you should make a video explaining how different drugs affect the brain! Short term and long term!! It's fascinating to me how our brain works with different things.... addiction, mental health, etc!! Actually one medication I'm really curious about is how Suboxone works with the brain bc I've heard somewhat of what it does but, it's a lil confusing to me!! I have actually a few close friends and loved ones that take Suboxone and I know one of my good friends swears she suffers with anxiety and adhd kinda side effects from it so I'm curious bc I know it has blockers but I feel like that wouldn't be real good for long term use!!*

Hi Dr. Mike love your videos, they give me inspiration to learn my uni content in such a way that I can verbally teach myself in order to memorise! Struggling with understanding Cephalosporin Antimicrobials, and how second and third generations are further improved for gram -ve bacteria. Is there a simple explanation for this?
