Lol side kick Jake.. narrator don't care for flattery đđ
Iâve seen 1 or 2 back in the 70âs. They werenât the most popular jukeboxes but they were out there.
I bet they would make a badass guitar amp.
What a great skill heâs got to be able to get it going.

I own a few Select-O-Matic Seeburg jukeboxes that play 45s. The most valuable jukes are the ones where you can see the mechanism and turntable when the doors are shut. The Seeburg trash can wasn't as popular as the Wurlitzer or Rockola jukes of the period because the mechanism was hidden. Seeburg dominated the jukebox market starting in the 1950s. The Select-O-Matic jukes also came in models that held 80 and 100 records, which meant 160 and 200 selections respectively. The video only mentioned the 50 record Select-O-Matic jukes that play 100 selections. Prices are much higher for vintage jukeboxes in the UK than they are in North America.

I fixed up a Seeburg AY100... 1961. It was a good deal of work, but I'm glad I did. I did a "rust-o-ration"... just cleaning it but leaving the scars that tell its story.
Rare !! only 83,000 + were made 3 models ! 46-47-48 I wish I could get 10 k for these ! I recognise that machine James !
Top resto
One of these was in the basement of a rental property my friend used to own. It had some serious water damage at the bottom, but it was all there still. I told him it was worth money. I'm not going to say it was repairable, but the parts would have been salvageable. He just left it when he sold the property.
Also which type of led did u use to replace the bulbs part number and site please.
I have similar jukebox I have 3 tracks stuck. How do I go about un sticking the trays?
That machine needed a LOT of work đŹ I guess because it commands such a high retail price once restored, makes it worth while to invest the money to rebuild it. Crazy how much money they bring
today I have 20,000 songs available at a tap. 70+- years!
anybody know how to remove the record trays for cleaning on these types of jukeboxes?
You have to remove the mechanism from the back of the jukebox, then a plate with 4 screws on them that sits behind the selection unlocking drum. You can them slide them all out of that corner. Thatâs for the slide trays, the round felt trayâs you can just pick them up with a vacuum.
Too bad you mounted those chrome wings on the side plastics upside-down. Ruined perfectly new plastics. Wonder what else was wrong?
Agreed! How can you miss something so simple. You'd have to try...
I donât think it damages the plastic as the back pierce might be mounted correctly, something that might need correction though.
@@ACOGJESUSSCOPES Dude, this was an innocuous comment I responded to. But, your comment needs serious correction as well. Do you see it? Sheesh...
They destroy one of these in the movie "The Girl Can't Help it" (1956)
Can you remind me why do i subscribe?

I have the same jukebox. They are a fantastic jukebox but not very sought after. If he try's to sell it he will only get ÂŁ3,000 tops.
Wrong, normally. This restoration has many flaws, not the least of which is the chrome wings on the side plastics are mounted incorrectly. Also, the red cloth is not original, other problems too. I have an original with remote selector box and two original teardrop speakers, all work. It would easily bring 15,000 US.
@@Jayusa1966the red cloth is correct for a 146M, the 147, and 148 use a different door design that do not use the red grill cloth on the front.
@@ACOGJESUSSCOPES that's not a 146M

Slang for champagne
pourquoi une tète de jihadiste??????????
Unfortunately one of the most undesirable jukeboxâs around, really not worth spending vasts amounts of money on .
Wrong. This juke is highly collected.
Ed Lis would tell you otherwise.
Nothing rare about a seeburg trash can. They were never the most popular.
Very rare in the UK
While somewhat correct on rarity, this model is highly sought after.
