    Can the washed out quality be improved with the inbuilt parameters like color sharpness etc?

      @ttms2  Před 5 lety

      Yes, they came out with a new firmware that helps a ton.

    Thanks alot for taking the time to make these videos
    They help alot. One question. I was looking to get the reolink but I see via your videos that it is washed out during the daytime but at night it looks better than the others in the review. So my question is could it have been something in the settings that could be adjusted to improve the color quality?

      +DrSmith74 there was nothing that I could find in the built-in settings. If you use an app like blueiris, you can adjust the settings some.

      I have a couple of RLC-411WS cameras I've been playing with. In both the windows software and android app you can play with focus and color. These were a pain to learn and get set up but I am liking them more as I get more experience with them. The two I got have little differences. One doesn't always focus good at start up and I can bump the zoom and it corrects. In trench techs review it looks like the Reolink is a little brighter but not what I call washed out. Here is a write up I did on the cameras I purchased. www.tractorbynet.com/forums/rural-living/388674-reolink-security-cameras.html

      +raul cabrera I was using blue iris which runs on Windows. It allows connection from almost all IP based cameras.

    Hello. looking for an external camera that has a microphone. Wanting to put it on my barbershop and point it next door at the Santa Fe Depot. Lots of Trains. Live stream it to Yoube and audio would be nice. Comments appreciated. Rick

      Look directly at an ir camera, you se a series of what look like dull red lights around the outside.

    • @ericb6390
      @ericb6390 Před 4 lety

      Its not true IR, its dim red lights, the nightvision is not real either, true IR cannot be seen and can only pick it up with gen 3 or gen 4 nightvision, true nightvision cost min 3k, this is cheap civilian "nightvision"

    I have 4 Reolink cameras and they are shit. Very good quality WHEN they work but mine constantly disconnect and will only re-connect by removing from the house and having to connect via Ethernet. The firmware will also not update on any of the cameras. Reolink customer support is extremely slow and pretty much useless. They even offered me 8% discount on 2 of my cameras for the issue I am facing. I would rather the cameras actually properly work than have a discount.
    I do NOT recommend Reolink at all.

      I've had 5 reolink cameras at one of my properties 24/7 for 15 months now and I haven't had one problem. 2 cameras are running audio recording.
