Great video. I have these boots aswell and they are a good boot. Problems I have had is the buckles are hard to lock/use and I also find the calf opening small but I do have larger the average calfs
Just ordered my boy the 4.5 and I think he’s going to love them, he only had O’Niel riders,
Or Thor boots, so I think these are on a whole different level of protection and comfort
Thanks for the review,I have Gaerne React, thinking of buying Leatt Flexlock now!
Good choice!
Leatt rep up here told me you can order a new sole from your Leatt dealer. Take them to a cobbler and they can replace the sole when needed.
I actually just got that info too. That’s new info.
you stilling using these boots? how are the soles n stitching holding up?
I'm a long time Crossfire TA user, Thinking of trying SG12's for a change, or maybe the Leatt. If you had to purchase now which of those two would you go with?
That’s a great question. I honestly think I would go with the Leatt. I have better control with them and I feel safe. I can also say now that they are more waterproof than the Gaerne. But I’d try them both on to see if one fits better. They both fit my foot.
@@highlandcycles Thanks for the quick response! That's the problem around these parts nobody stocks Gaerne or Leatt....it's all A*'s. My last pair of Gaerne's were SG10's over ten years ago and I don't remember them being very waterproof. The Sidi's by comparison are extremely water proof.
I just actually ordered a pair of the same boots today I have 18 inch cavs do you think that will be a problem with them or is there enough adjustment for that ? I got size 11 also.
I think you should be ok b
Ho wich would you go for enduro riding, Alpinestars TECH 7 or Leatt Flexlock! thanks!!
Leatt
how waterproof? can i walk around in rivers in them like my sidi ta and not get wet
I haven’t been able to submerge them yet but they took longer to get wet from a driving rain than my Gaerne’s
Would you recommend these also for enduro-only, adventure sports or even "touring"?
Might be a little much for just touring but ADV yes
Leatt also has the GPX 5.5 Flex Lock Enduro version
your feett are to wide or to narrow for sidi?
My feet are too wide for Sidi.
Are you still wearing these boots? If so how are they holding up and would you buy them again?
I’m not. They were great but I kept tearing the sole after awhile
If I wear a 9½ usually should I go with a 10 on these?
Probably
What’s the difference between these, and they’re Enduro version?
The soles I think are the only real difference
@@highlandcycles cool, thanks
How many hours have you put on the boots?
I put a lot but I have to say that in the ens they didn’t hold up as well as I would like. I went back to Gaerne.
@@highlandcycles would you been willing to do another update, why you were disappointed and so on. I'm interested in the boots but more interested in boots that will last.
@@jaykahn8936 for sure. The big reason was the soles. They would tear in the rocks.
@@highlandcycles did you have the motocross or enduro soles?
@@jaykahn8936 Moto
But to be fair, I loved everything else about them
Alpine stars or Leatt?
Alpine stars
