They make you destroy it and then you have to wait a year to get the replacement. But you can order the same exact one outside of the recall and it will come in 2 days.

The lack of information on their website concerning the recall is shocking. I have been waiting for over 6 months for my replacement with no update from Blendjet whatsoever except to say that they were to start shipping replacements in March (as I recall). Has anyone out there actually received their replacement unit? I live in the UK so no doubt will be at the bottom of the pile for issue of the replacement (if it ever happens) as clearly there will be additional costs involved. I am also amazed by the lack of people on forums or making posts complaining about the ongoing delays. If no further information received from Blendjet by the end of this month (June), I intend to start making as much noise as possible to get people avoid this product. Blendjet is being totally unreasonable in asking their customers wait so long for a replacement unit.

You'll never get your replacement. i've been waiting six weeks and don't have anything. I'm convinced they're going to go out of business before replacing all those blenders.
Update: Now they're saying as late a June for replacements.
I received mine just today...they had issues and finally shipping March 2024.

@shywalker404 I called in very upset. They had me purchase it again, and then once received, I had to call back for a refund. It's crazy how they can send out new orders but can't get the replacements sent.
@JeremyHill I found your video searching for solutions to my Blendjet simply not working correctly anymore and flashing red/purple but not charging at all when plugged in. This happened suddenly! Now I know about the recall which may also explain why my blender stopped working. My replacement has been ordered thanks to you!! Grateful for you putting this information out there with all the links.

So that’s a potential additional 4.6 million in sales
They say throw away the old base to proper battery recycling but what do you do about the blades?
Finally received my replacement today...the company had posted of supply chain issues so delayed until started shipping just now in March.

@@moamaster1 I emailed Blendjet with a complaint for how long it would take to get a replacement and they responded and got a replacement base out to me within a week.
Yup! It's been almost 3 months for me. Still no replacement.
Placed an order for my replacement at the beginning of January. It's now March, and I still don't have anything. This company is trash. I hope they go out of business. Get a Ninja portable blender.
I got my replacement today although we had bought a two pack from Costco and they only sent me 1 and also its just a new base and lid not the plastic cup part.

what if the replacement blendjets have the same problems? blendjet should give everyone affected by the recall their money back. and make the recall mandatory.

4 of us family members followed directions to return our Blend Jets. 2 of us received our replacement parts this day. Unfortunately, Kierra Gietzen disposed of the glass portion by mistake. Is there a way to replace the glass jar?
I just bought one at walmart. Does it need to be replaced??
Got mine but it does t work. Fully blue after charged but then flashes red and purple when I push the power button
I finally got my replacement and now it is taking 2 hours to charge and still not fully charged

Yes, they take forever to replace the base, still have not received mine, and yet they continue to sell this model instead of replacing the defective ones first. Can we collectively sue? Hmmmmm.

I am trying to submit my info for the recall but it won't accept and keeps saying "please wait", "this is taking a little longer", "thanks for waiting" and "hang in there" then it stops spinning and requires me to press submit again. Anyone else having issues?

Same issue here. After I pressed submit, "Please wait" showed up...disappeared after a few seconds. But then nothing to indicate it's been sent. How will I know my case is being processed ?

Im pissed about all this! I used this blend jet to feed my son SMOOTHIES! He could have gotten hurt or even worse, DIED. I want my money back not a blendjet.

Mine has been on order since the day it hit the news. Way over six weeks.
I got my replacement base sooner than 2 months after sending a complaint via email about how ridiculous it was to wait up to months for a replacement that they were responsible for.

I had to send several e-mails complaining about the fact that I have been waiting since January and they continue to sell these items. Explained that this is such poor customer service that I am being bombarded with e-mails to purchase a new one, but can't accommodate existing customers. Received the same response that they were being shipped out in March, first come first serve. Another e-mail and FINALLY they shipped one to me. Took a week to get to me. My sister actually called them directly and they told her June would be the soonest she would receive her replacement. Argued a little more with them and they sent her a new unit. She received it within two days. This company has the absolute worst customer service!

They send a ton of junk emails, but no updates or replacement parts. Total scam!
