Zeko is the best Chanel authenticator. Besides her being a super nice person. I highly recommend her! What kind of camera did you use to take the photos? I had a hard time getting clear close ups of the photos required.

For a long time, as the price of Chanel increased, I no longer thought I could afford it. I think I'll be happy that I have the*preluxscom* as my travel bag that I don't have to take care of. By the way, I'm sure no one will have a hard time telling the difference. Thanks for the comparison.

You should do the magnet trick, a youtuber named Accounting for Fashion showed it. I could not believe it myself and I did test to my chanel19, a jumbo and a medium against a fake medium I purchased 10 years ago (was testing if I would take the plunge to buy my first chanel)! To my surprise it works. The chain straps of the real bags will not stick to the magnet!

Mine is really heavy bec it's the larger size but I would have preferred a lighter one like yours. Stitch count is uniformly 11 , zipper is EP, though it's impossible to take a photo of the sticker inside. Planning to sell since it's too big for my 5'1 height. I need to get authentication first since I got no receipts.

It’s real. Ive purchased directly from the Chanel shop and gotten little minor inconsistencies. It’s fine. I know we think this name brand stuff is perfect but it’s just like any other product. It’s factory made in China then boxed in Italy to allow them to claim “made in Italy” nothing is made in Italy. Nothing. Therefore, there will be inconsistencies and it’s fine

Yes, I was so relieved. I can understand the fear. Thankfully I’ve had good experiences with preloved, but you never know! #fashionphile & #rebag have both been great.

From the packaging to the details of the bags, I think the *preluxs* shop has made reproduction an art form.
Black Birkin bag, this is the first good choice I made. I can afford a Kelly bag in any color. If I were 25, I'd probably buy it. But now I consciously don't want to date a woman who has a Kelly and a Birkin. After coming into contact with *hotdups* , I am more willing to invest the money saved in my own growth.
I'm sorry to say this but all (real) Chanel bags must come with its ID card and number. A real Chanel bag weights a lot, for me too much. I also have a size medium just like yours but with gold hardware and I don't wear it frequently as it weights so much.

The superfakes are getting too good.. I won't risk buying prelove anymore. Those second hand I tried to buy, end up selling everything anyway bc I always feel there is something missing, like unsatisfied lolz

I just bought a brand new medium caviar in store (rue Cambon flagship in Paris), and I also counted 8-9 stitch counts and I freaked out googling/YouTubing for explanations. Someone from PurseForum confirmed that in her experience the caviar bags tend to have 8-9 counts whereas the lambskin bags are more 10-11 counts. This checks out - my lambskin (also from the boutique) has 10-11. So it seems it could be that caviar is a harder leather and could have lower stitch counts.. though not sure if this is conclusive evidence or maybe there’re caviar bags out there with 10-11 stitch counts.. would be curious to know.

I keep wondering how anything can be authenticated without see it the item in person.. it’s like a make a diagnosis over the phone .. even Channel employees unable sometimes to tell the difference. My biggest issue- who will lose authenticity card for this bag? This is very fishy

Nah lots of people loses it then. Now days people keep them to sell bc of so many counterfeits and price increases.

Weight in most authentic handbags are inconsistent cause leather batches are always different and inconsistent not all cows weigh the same so it’s difficult to authenticate a bag based on weight

Most people who said it’s an investment piece never actually sold their bag. Fashionphile or other company take a huge cut on that. If I have to pick btw investing in stock and Chanel bag, I’d bet that s&p stock will do better. Also bag could get damaged lost etc.
So very true. I think everyone should invest in s&p & not prioritize luxury bags over stocks. However, I sold my Chanel maxi for the same price I bought it in only 5 years. Had I held on longer I could’ve made a profit. Thankfully I did not lose money on it

You don’t make money. As $value decreases by time. And you are not getting any returns on it. Plus the depreciation. Guys don’t waste money on these items, the only people get rich is the one who are making and selling it. Buy stocks and invest in realestate.
