I'm happy to see Huntokar in this timeline again. It's silly, especially since I know what he is, but I'm really worried about Khoshekh. My own elderly kitty just passed, so the idea of anything bad happening to him or the kittens kinda hurts in a different way right now. I'm also vaguely concerned about scones now. Anyway, cheers to 200 episodes, may there be many more floating about the void waiting to be crystalized into something our feeble minds can comprehend! May the moon's redesign be lovely and may we all have enough drink to forget the old look!

I wanted to be able to catch up to listen to 200 "live", so to speak, but unfortunately some really awesome stuff happened in my life (not the unfortunate part lol), so I didn't get around to it. Leaving this comment here so that I know I was hear when we hit this amazing milestone, even if I couldn't listen to it - immediately, that is. Thank you, Night Vale, for always being there for me. Almost hard to believe this is only the 200th episode, it feels like I've been listening to this cozy little show about a strange desert town for decades beyond my personal recall. Cheers to all of you who bring this show to us, and cheers to the next 9 and a half years of stories! Can't wait for episode 400 to roll around, or slide around, or slither. Can't say i know how an episode moves about, but I'm sure we'll learn one day
I’m glad to announce that my cat, Khoshekh will make a full recovery!
Late at night on Monday, he had dug a hole thru the rotted part of the floor (the bastard) and had woken everyone up with the sounds of him getting his ass absolutely thrashed by the big boy cat that lives next door. Running towards the sound, my other cat, Jack and I pause when we see a bloodied form squeezing it’s almost liquid body thru a crack in the floor, it was Khoshekh. Jack, unaware of this fact, jumps straight in the air and bolts down the hallway, hissing the whole way.
Anyway, Khoshekh was really beat up. He even ripped out 3 of his 24 claws, but I have been rubbing antibiotics on his whole body for two days now and he seems fine. That the gods for science.
They just did that!! Oh my glow cloud!
200 wow, can't belive it. I found out about you in 2019 thanks to the internet historian and i have been hooked ever since.

I love A Story About Huntokar! It's one of my favorite episodes and it's so wonderful to hear this.
My opinion on the pulsar is that it's a valuable resource. They should power the entire town with it and sell any extra electricity to nearby municipalities to help pay for its upkeep

Found Night Vale in 2015 and absolutely fell in love. Re-created some of the most famous episodes for Toastmasters projects (with credit!), listened to the entire catalogue over and over again while doing chores. Thank you for making such a vivid world to get lost in!

Does Susan Willman becoming Huntokar have something to do with NV existing in reality again? She describes becoming Huntokar in a similar fashion as they describe the phenomenon of NV suddenly "always existing" despite having not existed the day before.
Also, it's just nice to hear Huntokar again, I really like her character!
