Destiny 2 OOB: The Return of the Atraks-1 Box (with Bonus Spacewalk Chest)

- Well, we've got a new way to reach the Atraks Box. Turns out there's a funnel!
As a bonus, we've got a new way to get to spacewalk. Well, I guess not that new... But it's the first time I've used that path :D With grapple flying, any class can do this, but Titan is definitely the easiest. The flight can be a bit tight in places though.

The Security vandal in first encounter doesn't have such a funnel. I have no clue why this one is here XD
@@Froggy618157725 doesn't that vandal have a kill box protecting it? So players come up from underneath and throw a solar grenade at the floor?
It's under the kill floor at least. If there's also a kill zone IRB the box that's new.

Basically just exists to confuse us out of map at this point XD
i only recently started discovering oob is actually a part of the player base(im having trouble finding ppl to to explore or are interrested) about a month ago. Most of my 2 years of playing video ganes again since i was younger 2005 and prior.
Any rcomendations to as to where i xan learn more and find others who share the same cuerious nature. Most ppl on destiny dont care let alone know avout it.
Most ppl who speedrun and do oob cant b bothered to help out in actyal in game play.

That's my playlist on general techniques. Some of it is a bit outdated, like there isn't a death exclusion zone anymore for invalidating spawn points, but most of it applies.
There's a decent amount of folks into out of map stuff in the Raidsecrets discord glitching channel.

Do we need to be in a patrol or can I do this from the raid? The spacewalk chest would be pretty nice addition to my weekly raid chest rotations
You can do this to grab the spacewalk chest. In raid it should give you stuff.
You can easily solo the opening & the storm for the first chest, and then not so easily break out of map in Restricted and traverse for the 2nd chest. If you do it in patrol the chests give nothing.
(Edit) don't go into the security room or else the checkpoint will update and if you need to load back in you'll be locked in the room and have to start all over.
Can you try and go to those white witness statues out in the sky of gateway (cosmodrome)?
Those are sheets. They're the same as an asset on a crucible map. They're also not within true edge, so sadly can't visit them.
Do you think a stasis hunter super can get in there?
I think it was too wide from that, from really old testing. But honestly I'm not sure. You could always give that a try, though getting a hunter out there is gunna require all grapple flying if you don't IRB, and then you gotta charge an entire super.
Is the season of the splicer vex network location still under a map somewhere?
No, only the box extensions remain.

I think they just kept it around 'till they had other vex domains, which they finally added with Neomuna

How do you get rid of the gordian knot cooldown? i've messed around with it and tried looking for videos, but nothing seems to work for me
u just swap to another navigator with the catalyst
@@tetrodoksyna2130 Without touching the ground after you fire the grapple point. If you see a timer on the cooldown that means you touched the ground and can't get rid of it by swapping.
