Have just bought, downloaded, installed-and GASPED! This might be the most beautiful sampled instrument I've heard/played in ages and ages-years and years! I was just sitting there, gobsmacked, moved, playing notes and chords, and everything I heard sounded so alive, so vulnerable, sincere. The preset with your wife was breathtaking! I handed the headphones to my wife and played notes and played it for her, and she loved it, too. It's marvellous, Jon! ❤️ Thank you! 🦑😀❤️

Your Meyer Choir is such a precious snapshot, and I'm grateful you're sharing it with us. I really do need to replicate this with my own family.
I bought the rubber guitar and will buy this too today, purely based on 2 factors :
- it does sound really lovely, organic, beautifully quirky

Sounds really nice and soothing! I am not clear why this is now a dedicated plugin - I tend to favor Kontakt banks as I know they will work forever, on windows, mac, new, old...
But you must have your excellent reasons :)

This library has a tape like quality to it...I guess it's like others have mentioned, it resembles a Mellotron in a way...either way it sounds great!

LOL Jon! I thought the same thing when I first saw you made this instrument. (How did he get his kids to go along with it? Very puzzled as my own bribes and experiences haven't yielded successful results. "No, I just want you to make *this* sound..." Facepalm city)
Thanks, this sounds great! I've noticed an issue with the pitch and mod wheel icons though (FL Studio so VST3). They animate and work fine when using the wheels on my midi keyboard, but when using a mouse in the interface they move but don't affect the sound. Not sure if that's just for me or it's the same for everyone

I'm seeing the same thing over here. I set it up to require MacOS 11 or more, but I guess it's also blocking systems that are compatible such as Ventura which is MacOS 13. I'll build a new package now. Thanks for pointing that out.
@@BeepBoopAudioOK, thanks for your work, we all know it's tough. For your info it doesn't open on Sonoma 14.5 as well (intel). Let us know when the new compatible version will be available. 👍
@@FLH3official Just sent off a new build to Jon. I believe he will send it to you soon and then push the new installer after it is confirmed to function correctly. Turns out it was an issue with the architecture settings in Xcode, so the installer would reject ALL Intel processors. I believe I fixed the issue and it should only reject people that are on systems below MacOS 11, since the plug-ins are truly not compatible with these older systems. Thank you SO much for pointing this out. It allowed me to find the issue quickly so that Intel Mac users can enjoy Meyer Choir.
@@BeepBoopAudioGreat. It opens now! Thank you for your work! But, on my side I'm not a great fan of plugins with integrated samples. I prefer to keep the samples, .mse, .ch1 or other formats, on a separate drive. Would be great to have this choice of installation. Hence I'll keep the .nki version which is also very good. Thank you again.
In 2020 I used TMC on an album about a journey through space from Earth to New Earth and the imperfections just made it. So pleased to see it being reintroduced to a new audience.

how do you make vst's? I wanted to make one out of household items.
We're using HISE to make these plug-ins. Took an online course by David Healey to learn everything quickly. HISE is free for personal use, but you will find there are many costs that come along with distribution.
