For any current 35 owners don’t attempt to do a radiator flush or any hose replacement if you don’t have a coolant system refill kit , chances are you can bleed it by the bleeder valve but will take you all day if not 2 , but at the end of the day there will always be air in the system if not vacuumed out

I took one of those hand pumps put the hose on the overflow tube come out with the other hose in the gallon of antifreeze and kept pumping and pumping till I knew for sure no air was coming out the bleeder valve. I kept getting air to the point it blew apart my bleeder valve. They break easy. If you need a bleeder valve you can use a piece that comes in the Preston coolant flush kit at Walmart works mint

I believe either the thermostat or the radiator was bad but I guess I didn’t bleed it properly right after I replaced both of the parts but anyways my car has a new thermostat and new radiator now after 100k miles which is good cause they will go bad eventually but if it wasn’t cause of your video I would have probably replace the water pump or something else so thank you very much.

@@augustarellano197 My overheat issue was due to radiator fan. If you can't feel it moving air when your looking down at the fan it is likely the cause. It mitigates having to constantly open and check the bleed valve. No air in the line either because the consistent fluid kept it tye funnel is gravity feed from the highest point on the engine. Are your radiator fans broke? Once the engine radiator temps hit 195-200 the electric fans kick on. This always happens when the car is not moving. Doesn't sound like a bleeder problem.

@@austinbradley3411 ...so you bought a nismo radiator cap and a nismo thermostat. Any particular reason you believe you need these? Your street car is not a race car. You do realize a nismo thermostat opens much sooner than an OEM thermostat and the nismo radiator cap increases pressure raising the boiling point. I choose not to run nismo thermostat and cap for a reason on my street car that is dyno tuned.

Now the engine overheats, and I've been trying to burp my car and alot of air bubbles come out when turned on. And it shoots coolant like a volcanoe, but when cold the coolant is barely shows inside the reservoir

My air problems started when I installed a plenum spacer or throttle body spacer. I swear to GOD it is a pain in the ass and the overheating sporadically comes back. This time I’m flushing my coolant because I’ve never done it before and the sporadic symptoms indicate it’s the fluid. It will get up to the halfway mark on the heat gauge and then cool down to normal then back up minutes later. Hopefully this fixes it!
