Yes..this is one of THE BEST Misty modern old time chord, scales upgrade Explanation in our guitar jazz standards world. Top lesson. Thank you Amigo.
Thanks! I felt like it was a lot to try to put into one video lol. I'm working on Stella for you now :)
Fantastic lesson but on top of that I’m continuously impressed with this Tele Ultra. It comes accords as a very flexible instrument and in jazz context it really delivers :)
I like it
Great. Thanks. Really useful. Doesn't patronise
Thanks
Thanks from Spain...
Glad it helped!
Really useful
Beautiful playing! Great theory too. Would love to see some transcriptions of your examples.
Thanks so much man! For some of my other videos I put some tab in the video.
No worries...I’ll follow your examples...I really like your approach to soloing. Look forward to more from you.👍
Hello Dr Josh, thanks so much for sharing this lesson! I notice that you wear a brace around your wrist. Ive been struggling with wrist pain from playing guitar a lot and never found anthing to help it. Did you by any chance experience something similar? Is this brace something, that could help with that? Kind Regards, Paulus
I had carpal tunnel syndrome at the time and it helped quite a bit but ultimately I had surgery which cured the problem.
Thanks so much

Where did you learn all of your theory?
I picked it up various places. When I started playing 35 years ago I had guitar lessons, and learned about modes and the harmonized major scale. In the last few years getting into jazz I’ve been learning stuff off CZcams like from Jens Larsen, but I learned the most from Barry Greene’s website which I subscribed to for one year. That’s where I learned a lot of chord scale stuff. I highly recommend his site.
and you must wear a hat because it's too cold
This is why you can NEVER trust CZcams guitar tone demos. Please explain how now that same guitar sounds, skinny. thin, bright, somewhat cold and metallic.. but in this other video of yours with the same guitar it's full, warm, rounded and thicker?? czcams.com/video/6LU4IGZc_hI/video.html
Different amp settings probably
Rockers playing standard 😂😂😂
