but "vegan sushi" has allways existed... literilly its allways been a thing, sushi with no fish is by no means a new concept, it just isnt popular.

Yeah.... Vegan sushi is always existed with kappamaki and wakame and people have been putting different kind of plant in their maki

There are vegan options to sushi already since sushi is existed like kappamaki and wakame people already put every kind of plant in their maki anyways

I am an Asia and there is NO such thing as vegan sushi. Only outsiders or vegans who know nothing about our culture would say such thing so stop saying bs and read history properly.

I don't like fishy sushi...only veggie. I tried two rolls when I visited NYC two weeks ago and I wish I had more! It was so unique and so delicious! There was choice, but I wasn't overwhelmed. And it tasted delicious! Loved the sauces that came with each too. Totally would recommend.

look I love anime, Im not a weeb but Im involved in that community and ive only ever met one real weeb... he only watched 90's era shounen anime and kept comming up to a japenese classmate of mine and tried to converse with her in Japenese... other than him though every other weeb ive ever met is doing it ironicaly.

Sushi means seasoned rice!
The word sushi refers to the rice. Raw fish is sashimi. Sushi can include fish, but it doesn't have to.
