There's easy way to know if there's gather team . When you select a map there's a icon of gathering team to the very right and down. When is a gath' team . There's is white icon .. if not is transparent . Plus . There's is an option. To see helicopters .. and just yo the right is an option to see gath' team only .
i was in galaxy valley and did timed aq and went for heli and saw fuel machine and went to put my bike down and i saw doomer went for heli and I'm like "i gotta take a screenshot" but welp my phone didn't take the screenshot because i was being attacked by a zombie and lol i didn't know doomer was recording🤣
