I love that Lewis didn't go into the pits and just let his brother have his well deserved moment.
Yeah, Lewis has always been very close to his brother and they seem to have such a special bond. I remember lewis years ago saying how his brother was such an inspiration for him growing up because despite his disability he would never complain and always try and get involved however he could. Lewis said he’d watch this determination his brother had and let it inspire him.
Lewis is one of the most genuine drivers on the grid.
@@manusiaganteng2753it’s a shame not everyone can see that
he did go to the pits after everyone had left and still remained under cover which i massively respect for but he had to go see him
Lewis haters -BUT LEWIS ONLY CARES ABOUT HIMSELF
Special, hardworking and talented family. Parents sacrificed so much for both of them to excel. Truly a exceptional inspiration to me as a to be father.
Good luck mate, it's a wonderful thing to be a father
I can tell they are very kind and humble. Went to Church every week. Hamilton only fears God
@@R9naldo I can safley say Hamilton is not religious in any sense 😆None of the family is at all.
The most successful F1 driver of all time, still being a normal, humble and proud big brother just like me and you.
He's as humble as a peer of the realm.
Normal and humble ??😅
So humble he had to post photos of himself rather than his brother actually racing
@@PerfectlyTrendy44 maybe, just maybe he should post more photos of him actually racing in the event rather than himself "incognito". That does not equate to 24/7 but Lewis fans like you are very dense so I understand why you would think that.
20 years from now we’ll recognise Lewis as the person who truly changed F1
How did he truly change F1?
@@therealquaid1694 that’s a really stupid question
@@stewartwilliamson5562 why?
@@therealquaid1694 Undisputably one of the greatest drivers ever, was a trailblazer in a sport dominated by white men, puts his money where his mouth and setup programmes to get diversity into F1, was an icon to half the grid, spends his time doing outreach work, was part of the massive boost in F1 in recent years, great ambassador for the sport and a lot more. There is nobody in recent memory who has done more for the sport.
Nick and lewis are awsome brothers. They are so proud of each other
What a legend! Must have been amazing to watch him race through the pack
I was there myself that day. It's crazy how I potentially walked past Lewis without even knowing. I'm pleased I got to witness Nicks performance!
6th is phenomenol! for those who are not familiar, BTCC aint known for being 'sparring', it's known for race aggression Full fire...Bumping, nudging, and amazing sportsmanship. Not mapped out strategic plans and comparative 'high speed serenity' that F1 displays. Well done Nick. Sincerely.
I was there with Nic and Team Hard. It was a special day at Donington indeed. Turning left to get up to Nic's grid slot for race 3 was inspiring. AS A TEAM.
Who made the call to come in and change to wets?
It's one of them hero or zero things if it works (which it did) out.
@@simoncheshire3820 Geoffrey is the man with the late call to use wets. Top bloke and always happy to talk to the fans turning up in the paddock (which is open to all in BTCC) on a race weekend.
Imagine being Lewis' dad or mum in the mid '90s. You're divorced/divorcing (not sure of exact timings), you're working up to 4 jobs to feed the seemingly impossible dream of your eldest to be a pro racing driver, your youngest has significant disabilities and is told he will never walk unaided. Oh and your kids are mixed race in a motorsport world that was and is overwhelmingly white in the UK. Imagine one of their friends over dinner explaining that what's going to happen is that Lewis will become the most successful F1 driver of all time and Nicholas one of the most successful disabled racing drivers of all time. How absurd that would have seemed. Yet here we are. Every day they must all wake up and pinch themselves. My word they deserve it. Typically classy behaviour from Lewis to not go storming into the pits at the end of Nic's race. Typically gutsy drive from Nicholas.
all of this for an "Imagine" comment.
I don't know where you get "significant disabilitIES" from his CP. And I say that as a disabled person myself.
What a nice brother. The very best LEWIS
For Nic, being on the BTCC grid is a sensational achievement in itself. To run well in the top 6 and score well is even more amazing. Make the most of these moments, because you don't know if or when they'll happen again.
His words say so much about him:
“It was a really special day for HIM”.
He could have said, it was a really special day for ME to get to see my brother but instead, all humble he was loving his brother having success.
❤ Lewis is the greatest of all time and his feet are still planted on the Stevenage pavement.
He could have posted photos and videos of his brother racing but instead chose to post photos of himself "incognito" which defeats the point. It's the usual antics from Hamilton. He craves attention more than a teenage girl. Embarrassing
@The Stranger I have, I don't take selfies of myself in the bathroom like Lulu.
@@therealquaid1694 you have nothing to show , he works hard and can flex his hardwork
@@PerfectlyTrendy44 yeah its hilarious how he hard he flexes it while remaining "incognito". That's what's so funny about him doing this.
@@therealquaid1694 an entire evening of him being solo trying to watch the race…and he showed about 3 pictures to talk about how awesome it felt to watch him and describe how he was able to do that without stealing the limelight after the event was over. I don’t understand what you want from him lol. Get over your high horse. Who cares if he likes a bit of attention lol. He’s a human being.
A family that loves and supports each other! Beautiful
Congratulations to Nick! What an achievement! 👌👌👏👏🎈🎈
I love this. I'm happy for this family that they're living these happy days.
Lewis Hamilton is so likable, love his chill vibe. 😊
an amazing result for Nick! richly deserved! Lewis, if u are reading this, nice 1 supporting your brother! 🙂💕
Nick is a really interesting and inspiring speaker too. He did a video presentation/q&a at my work a couple of years ago and was so articulate in discussing his experiences.
Wholesome! Made me smile a lot :)
The love of a brother 💜 my bro and I argue and what not but at the end of the day he’s all i have. Both almost at our 30s and always find a way to spend time with each other 🙏
Lewis is the GOAT... in everything.
Yes especially being a narcissist. Posting photos of himself rather than his brother racing. Craves attention more than a teenage girl
And what have you ever done in your tiny, meaningless life?
Lewis brother is a beast!!!!
Must've been fun for Lewis to be a fan and watch a race like how most of us do lol
True love and companionship ! I know (knew ) what that is ! 💞
Humble
Such a legend Lewis is that he cannot even go out to support his brother at a race track event as he would swamped with every fan not allowing him to have privacy 😭.. we love you Lewis but next time fans will be on the prowl to find him lol
Such a legend he had to post photos of himself at the event rather than posting photos of his brother. So much for incognito.
Amazing day, very inspirational.
Not quite on par with days like Abu Dhabi 2021 but still, really special.
What do you even mean by that. Regardless nic is 100000x the inspiration than any driver in F1
@@jacob2808 he’s a cringe max fan what do you expect
@@AZBCDEE oi I'm a max fan, we're not all bad lol
@@jacob2808 you might not be one of the cringe max fans though
@@jacob2808 Am I bad? For liking a race that raised F1 to a next level?
Millions of us loved that race and see it as one of the greatest moments in sport history. So many unfair decisions throughout the season, and it really looked like those human errors would decide things.
Until one more human error decided it, at the very, very end when nobody expected it anymore. Hollywood stuff.
I simply think that was a better day then the amazing day from this movie, that's all.
Loved it!
Wow amazing
As one of the most recognizable people in the sporting world it must have been a hell of a good disguise
Did you watch this whole video? It clearly showed him at the race. Disguise and all. Don't understand why it must have been a good disguise when you know what it was..You talking like nobody knows how he was disguised when they showed you.

hamilton is finished watching the sprint race today..he seems to be more thinking about his " film business" or is russell that much better? does hamilton still deserve an 8th title? mercedes can't be ok with this....
Lewis isn’t my favourite driver but he is at times a very generous and humble person
So humble an generous he posted photos of hi self rather than his brother racing
can you believe Lewis Hamilton David Choulthard and Dario Franchitti started their carreers in carting in Larkhall near Hamilton where i stay amongst other tracks Lanarkshire Scotland and look what they became remarkable true story .
Yeah we can believe it. Because we know it happened.
Fair play, Makes sense he watched it with the public cause Lewis shuts down any paddock he attends be it BTCC or Moto Gp, in the aftermath it was all about Nic as it should've been whereas Lewis being there would've partly taken it away. No one knew till he posted late at night by which point Nic had already got the rightful praise from the industry/media on his own merit. Also great not 1 person amongst hardcore brtish racing fans spotted him.
Yes it was so much about nic for Lewis that he only posted photos of himself at the race rather than his brother actually racing.
Lewis Hamilton
Nicole Hamilton still I rise
👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
I must've been so close to Lewis at one point as I was there 😂 slightly gutted
Again do I have to remind Sham Sports F1 that there are 19 other drivers on the grid 🙄
And yet here you are 🤦♀️
why do we never have seen the mother of Lewis hamilton? only his dad..???
I don't know anything about Lewis's brother and I didn't even know he had a brother but what is his disability?
He has cerebral palsy, as you can imagine makes racing a lot more difficult.
This isn't the first time he has raced either. There is a documentary floating around somewhere of his journey into Clio cup, might be ITV or BBC. He is also an avid sim racer. Pretty sure he was involved in some of the virtual events when COVID first happened.
All three men in the family are inspiring in their own right. Be it finances, disability or discrimination. Nothing stops them doing what they set out todo
@@wadud92 that's absolutely amazing that he's racing with cerebral palsy!
You're basically saying "I know he is a racing driver, but screw that, I want to know what his disability is, that is what matters."
Nick needs a car built for himself....Lewis....your brother needs a car. :)
Justitie for Massa!!
Based Lewis
Nice… not a global superstar and 7 time Formula 1 world champion… just a brother there to support his sibling,,, Nice…
Damn can’t even go celebrate with your brother after that is sad
He Only GOT in Cos Of HIS NAME ?
Great brotherly love shows lewis as anormal guy and congrats to nick . But come on why does he need find sponsorships 😂
Nick has refused money from Lewis. He wanted to be able to raise the money through sponsors himself. I have huge respect for him for that.
I blame sky F1 for these stupid sprint races. The commentators are the ones who say while 'on air' how "dull" or "boring" they feel particular races are. Chandok just said now how boring this race was 5 yrs ago....why sabotage your own sport.
Mr. Nice guy .. Russel deserves more attention at the moment, it is his second season as the first and better driver at Mercedes.
Hamilton could never fight a guy with a better car. Something Verstappen is very good at. That is the big difference and that is why people in 2091 will remember Verstappen and not Hamilton. With all respect ofcourse.
Stop smoking that bad weed
Haha yh right max has never won a title in a inferior car unlike Hamilton who in 2008 beat felipe and kimi who were in the Ferrari rocket ship took max 6 years to win a title because he finally had a better car and a race director to gift him a title because he couldn’t beat a 37 year old lewis😂 it’s ok perez is outclasses max in the SAME CAR a young lewis would school max any day of the week😂😂😂

Or maybe the fact he mentioning it now AFTER THE EVENT may put more eyes on his brother in the long run?... and why not talk about his family? If Lewis didn't talk about his family I bet people like you would then criticise him for being too self absorbed... I guess he can't win can he?

Perhaps it’s the accent you’re associating that with. He’s not sounding pretentious lol.
It’s quite charming that you have an obsession about this driver by seeking out videos and commenting about him. It’s a shame he’ll never know who you are or the attraction you obviously have for him ❤️🌈
Clearly, you hang on his every word. I would say stop watching and listening to his interviews, but I know how obsessive you so-called "fake" haters are✌🏼
Fanboys like you are much more objective… sure… and entertaining! Loool
It's mental init how society accepts a handicapped individual to drive a sports car, shame it'll never happen for anyone other than Lewis Hamiltons brother, no one else would ever get a look in, class and family can get you anything, oh and especially money, class family and money gets you everything 😢
Dude. There are other disabled racecar drivers. Hell there are disabled olypmpic level athletes.
