Brian discusses his first time meeting the Queen and how she brought up his constant imitations of her. He denied it, and she called him a liar! Brian also discusses how his many wonderful experiences meeting her included a time she made him tea backstage of one of his performances and he expresses how important she is for the country, ending on a small speech to summarise what she means to England and how "we need her to go on".

Piers, I wish you would get the facts right before making claims. The Queen, is not the longest serving monarch the world has seen, though she is the oldest. To date, ( with only very few weeks to go to get to 2nd longest reigning monarch) she is the 3rd longest reigning monarch.
She has a couple of years to go to be THE longest reigning monarch.
I do hope she may reach, and then surpass that milestone, by a good many years. (God Save The Queen. Many more years may she reign)

Royalty is nothing more than excess and entitlement. They will survive as long as people are willing to fill their every need, want and desire. I don't judge it. I try and ignore it because there are others lower in the class system that actually need time and attention.

I really don't understand why she is so popular. She seems to have a short temper and was not always friendly. More a fan of William and Kate. And why so long on the throne? Just to get in the history books as the longest reigning queen? The king of Belgium and the queen of Holland both resigned to give their children the role at a reasonable age. Anyway.... a monarchy and inheriting a role is an outdated concept in my opinion.
