I work at a Honda dealer and we sell so many wheel locks/locking lug nuts. Yet it won’t matter, these thieves can easily get a lug nut removal tool for them at any Honda dealer. Not much you can do unless you have special unique wheels

I just got the 10th gen sport rims for my 2012 Honda Accord because I liked the look of it compared to the original rims and I couldn't imagine someone stealing them from me. why did you choose a heavy stock rim over lighter and most likely cheaper aftermarket wheels? did you buy "stolen" wheels (and tires) at a too good to be true price? why not put Acura wheels on the Accord if you are going to "upgrade"? same-same right?

Rimgard been helping me for over 2 years now. MIND U I LIVE IN THE BRONX. just remember always have the key and glue on you. Tire popped the other day and it would’ve been over for me if i didn’t have the accessories to remove the lock.
My girlfriend just got a 2022 sport SE six months ago after I talked about the 10th gen Accords so much that she began to also love them. Those sport wheels are awesome and seeing this information about those wheels being commonly stolen makes me a little worried lol. Winning a set of these would make for a great surprise for her!
These thefts have not cooled down. They are increasing with regularity. I had my first set stolen 7 months ago, and after processing my insurance claim and $500 deductible, the total cost was $7,700. I had to switch insurance companies, because my premiums went up by a few hundred dollars. Now I have new insurance, and made sure I had locking lug nuts, no matter. Just a few days ago, my wheels were stolen again in a big crime network that operated overnight where I live in Maryland (a good neighborhood). They stole pickup trucks, and stole wheels from Honda Accords. The remaining soda crates were stacked in a parking lot nearby where the thieves crew HQ'd during the early morning hours. In both instances, 7 mo ago and just a few days ago, I filed a police report and filed an insurance claim, and ordered rental car. This is a big hassle and it seems that County police are just too overwhelmed and understaffed to take on this problem. They need the FBI to come in as I think this is part of a larger criminal organization hitting many cities, many different types of cars/trucks (especially Honda Accords and Civics in this area). There have been arrests over the last few months for carjackings in the DC area, but it is happening all over the place and car owners need to have more awareness as to what's going on. I seriously thought about selling my Honda after this happened a 2nd time. I wonder if this Rim Guard solution posted on this video works. I forwarded this to the owner of the other '23 model Accord in my neighborhood. He was thinking of getting less sporty rims, but I also think thieves are gonna come after those too (as long as they are in good condition when they steal them). I think it's worth a shot to look into Rim Guards. I know I will lose money if I decide to sell my '22 Accord.
What I really liked about these Rim Guards besides deterring P.O.S.s the Rim Guard covers up the horrible looking brake dust that gets into the area around the lug nuts that's a pain to clean. @8:00 is a good example. Plus these look decent. Great video!👑

I have a 2022 Accord Sport 2.0T and where I picked up my car from, they gave me wheel locks and they installed it on my car. I am considering getting this wheel locks for my wheels and want an extra piece of mind that one day I walked up to my vehicle protected and not wheels aren’t stolen

I still live in a state where you can leave your car unlocked, windows down, and running. You can do things people in other states wouldn't dare do. Unfortunately I think the more people that move here eventually things will change.

Had my stolen off my 2.0 Sport. Right out of my driveway. They busted my garage security light. Got them on my security cameras. The he police knew who it was from the video but couldn’t get any prints off the car so they wouldn’t make an arrest. Video of a theft isn’t enough evidence for them to do anything. Oh and btw, it’s not only a claim on your insurance. It shows as a “minor accident” on your car fax. A kick in the nuts for when I sell it. It’s no wonder they don’t pursue the thefts. It’s a racket for insurance. Tire and wheel sales, tow companies and police to all get a cut. Go figure
When you go years without causing an accident and spend thousands on insurance to not use then have someone total your car out of no where and some how my rates went up monthly payments are higher due to that and I still had to pay out of pocket to get it repaired . I love insurance . It’s just one HUGE SCAM

My sons wheels stolen couple years ago. After this happened. He has had a garage for night storage. And works on a military installation. No more problem.
Freaking awesome product. I bought a used 2020 accord that same night. I went online to purchase it, I expressed it for 2 days, yes its a bit more, but well worth it. Who ever see and reads this is well worth it. The 375 tgat I spent for it.
Doing this and a viper two way alarm system. Any motion to the car and the remote will make noise and notify you, as well as the car beeping like crazy LOL

There are no foolproof systems to prevent wheel theft but sometimes an alarm system, Rimguard, multiple locking lugnuts etc will be enough of a deterrent for most would-be thieves to bypass your car. Bought my Honda accord end of 2020 with 13 miles come February 2021 week of my birthday someone stole my side mirror. Was getting quoted $500+ out of pocket because it was below my deductible, and ended up getting an aftermarket mirror and installing it myself. I heard about rimguard shortly after but can’t afford the price tag. God forbid someone try’s to take my rims, brother in law had his cats stolen from his CRV just a couple of months ago. I’m in NYC and theft like this isn’t unheard of here.

I've had the Rimgard wheel locks on my 2019 Accord Sport for over 2 years. They are pricey, but well worth it. The other day, I saw a beat up old Honda Pilot with the 10th gen Accord wheels on it. Obviously stolen

I changed my 18 inch cast wheels for 16 inch steel utility wheels with cheap plastic hub caps. The tire OD is the same. They are gross ugly. Now nobody wants to steal them. Beautiful. Plus they don’t weep air. More beautiful.
I could definitely use these Because me and my buddies go to different states with our cars and I usually use mine just for the nice cruise but my buddies te37s got taken off his car before so still knowing that accord gets targeted would still be nice having these when I go to Minnesota and Colorado. Liked and subscribed! Just bought my 2018 Honda Accord Sport last Friday. This would be a great added security. About a week before I bought my car, my buddy had his wheels stolen off of his Honda Civic. Definitely something I want to try and avoid!!
I remember about 2 years ago theives hit 11 of these in one night all in New York but it's everywhere because this is a very popular car and they can sell them on the black market. I'm definitely glad I've got a 21 Type S only 2000 of these made so not too many around, plus I have aftermarket wheels customized just for my car, but what a shame people work hard & have to go through this.
Back in Aug. of 2021, a guy in my apartment complex here in Maryland had a 10th gen accord and his rims got stolen in the middle of the night. They were in and out very quick. It was sitting on bricks the next morning.

I just like it how that we need to protect our stuff but yet no one has the common decency to get a fucking job.

My sons wheels stolen couple years ago. After this happened. He has had a garage for night storage. And works on a military installation. No more problem.

Doing this and a viper two way alarm system. Any motion to the car and the remote will make noise and notify you, as well as the car beeping like crazy LOL

These make tire rotations/changing a flat tire a nightmare but I guess the piece of mind is worth it.
How so? I’ll keep the clay in the car, but besides having to remove the center caps, all you have to do is unlock them with the key 😁
I've had to take them off for tire rotation and it takes 5 minutes not a hassle at all.

There are no foolproof systems to prevent wheel theft but sometimes an alarm system, Rimguard, multiple locking lugnuts etc will be enough of a deterrent for most would-be thieves to bypass your car. Bought my Honda accord end of 2020 with 13 miles come February 2021 week of my birthday someone stole my side mirror. Was getting quoted $500+ out of pocket because it was below my deductible, and ended up getting an aftermarket mirror and installing it myself.
I heard about rimguard shortly after but can’t afford the price tag. God forbid someone try’s to take my rims, brother in law had his cats stolen from his CRV just a couple of months ago. I’m in NYC and theft like this isn’t unheard of here.

@The Lemon Factor! LLC no ! I got some spending lock lugs and they couldn't remove it without the key lock lug! And btw never keep it in ur car! One of the best investments I made and a dashcam

The other day, I saw a beat up old Honda Pilot with the 10th gen Accord wheels on it. Obviously stolen

There are two Accords in my apartment complex on blocks right now. They didn’t touch mine though. The only thing that was different about mine was that I am on 20’ Ferrada wheels.

This came up on my home page at the right time lol There’s an upscale here with those in my city and i’d definitely love to try to enter the contest if it’s still going on. I have a 2019 Accord Sport and they’ve been breaking in and finding the wheel lock piece to remove the rims. But I found this very helpful and thanks for the tutorial!

Advanced Wheel Locks are so much better. The cone shape makes it impossible to remove or hammer in a key or socket.
I changed my 18 inch cast wheels for 16 inch steel utility wheels with cheap plastic hub caps. The tire OD is the same. They are gross ugly. Now nobody wants to steal them. Beautiful. Plus they don’t weep air. More beautiful.

I could definitely use these Because me and my buddies go to different states with our cars and I usually use mine just for the nice cruise but my buddies te37s got taken off his car before so still knowing that accord gets targeted would still be nice having these when I go to Minnesota and Colorado. I remember about 2 years ago theives hit 11 of these in one night all in New York but it's everywhere because this is a very popular car and they can sell them on the black market. I'm definitely glad I've got a 21 Type S only 2000 of these made so not too many around, plus I have aftermarket wheels customized just for my car, but what a shame people work hard & have to go through this.

Back in Aug. of 2021, a guy in my apartment complex here in Maryland had a 10th gen accord and his rims got stolen in the middle of the night. They were in and out very quick. It was sitting on bricks the next morning.
