Hey I have a question my raptor 660 when I downshift and I get the first it lets me click down one more time and it goes it reverse with out my turning the knob and I took the reverse cable off to see if it was to tight and it still did it but it does it and then sometimes it doesn't can u help me

look at the lever where the cable clips into is it bent or frozen? is it missing a spring
I think its frozen because when I remove the clip it stays in the same spot
