The only thing that scares me is that he's very late in changing leads in the stretch and with his running style he'll be carried wide entering the stretch and if he doesn't switch when he needs he'll flatten out early. Other than that and the quick pull up in the La Derby he has the look of a trifecta runner.
Another insightful profile. That 5.67 dosage scares me off. The pedigree with all of the Derby contenders has been so similar for the past 20 years or so that it's really confusing. I just hope there's some rain this year. Churchill made their track too hard and unnatural somewhere around the late eighties and early nineties, when the dosage system stopped meaning so much. I'm guess the dosage will mean more if the track gets some good rain on Friday or Saturday.
