- Boonmee is first and foremost a tribute to a loved one who now has a special meaning for each person present during his construction. Nakai San signs his works as a painter signs his canvas.
The work of a builder is done with a discreet but skillful hand, where the result is translated into a unifying art. He is refining his work with a marked attention to detail and exemplary concentration since he knows that the effort is not in vain. The approach is valid for many, for without it the work remains soulless.
SCALE Suspension had the opportunity to welcome Akira Nakai-San (中井啓) at their HQ. Flew straight from Japan to Canada to create the rebirth of Boonmee in less than 3 days.

Love the video. Was wondering, what is the rough build cost of the car without the RWB kit? What does it take to bring it up to spec before Nakai comes? Looking to get one of these soon!
I think the wait time is approx. 2 years (plus his cost) to have Nakai install the kit, which ranges from $20,000 - $30,000 USD.
They have a website, google it... All said, you're looking at $100,000 USD or more (depending on the car you buy).
