- It's happened again, following the successful build of UK’s first RWB named Hibiki, by Akira Nakai-San for Father Jag and son Raj Jagdev, Proud owners of Profusion Customs Stainless Steel Exhaust specialists near Heathrow Airport in the United Kingdom.
We are proud to announce the second official RWB in the United Kingdom took place at our premises on 27th October 2019. This time a perfect 911 993 Cabrio received the full treatment. Nakai San named this car (Mai) which means:
Japanese 舞 (mai) meaning "dance" or 麻衣 (mai) meaning "linen robe". It can also come from 真 (ma) meaning "real, genuine" combined with 愛 (ai) meaning "love, affection".
Akira Nakai San founder of RAUH-Welt Begriff (Rough World) started in a small town in Chiba Japan over 30 years ago, progressing and building a network of enthusiasts from around the world all wanting a part of his creations and share the epic journey.
We hope you enjoy this video documenting the build process which took place at Profusion Customs workshop in London on the 27th October 2019, and we would like to thank the worldwide fans for taking part and making history.

I’ve seen a ton of these and I think it’s the first time I saw an owner do the decent thing of prepping the car for him by removing the bumpers and wheels. Lol. Good job. 🤙🏼

Why do those rwb's fall apart on the nurburgring?
His early stuff was good on 930s but he has commercialised his product and the finish quality doesnt merit the cost. Also this car sits way too high for a proper rwb. For the money charged for a fibreglass kit and angle grinding the arches it is not for me, each to their own.
How can you say this isn’t a “proper RWB” when it was made by the master himself? Anything he makes is a “proper RWB”. You don’t pay for the kit, you pay for his work

first things first gotta seal the bodykit on with black window caulk or whatever so u can never take it off without tearing the paint up 🥴, idk where they do that at, I know this dude is famous and these cars are sought after and cost hundreds of thousands of dollars but if you really watch what he’s doing this shit is a hack job anybody with a drill a saw and a socket set could do this in their own garage
You are correct but also missing the point at the same time. RWB is actually not so much about what is specifically being done to the car as much as it is about the brash, kit-bashing methods and attitude with which it’s being done - the way Akira Nakai and other broke drift kids did it back in the old days in tiny, dingy garages in Japan. It’s the process of being born into a global car club. It’s the culture it represents. The car is merely the vehicle of that process and the expression of that culture.
Neither "Welt Begriff" nor "Sekund Entwicklung" is correct German, much less makes any sense.
