I think the vibe of the music video suited her so well!! I loved the song so much. You should check out the rest of the album. Jihyo wrote the lyrics and helped composed almost all the songs.
Looking at the difference between nayeon and jihyo's solos they both executed it so well based on their own vibes. And their concepts are so diverse. Like jype know what they're doing.

The concept felt bold and more countryside-ish and simple and comforting. I loved all her outfits, but 2:00 felt so terrible. The stylist could’ve given her a purple silk top with leggings or something purple to match the bg. But overall, I liked the chorus and the outfits and the style and everything- prolly the best K-pop solo I’ve heard!! 💅✨🩷

I love Jihyo and the fact her song didn't have anything too grand or too plain was all I was here for. As for the song, it suited her vocals and it's something I'll definitely be listening to again! I think we shouldn't be comparing Jihyo and Nayeon's solo songs because they both bring a different vibe to each song and that's what makes it worthwhile listening to and it also isn't based on the same old love songs Kpop idols have normalized.

I think Jihyo's solo is one the best I've seen. Her album felt like it was really her style. There's just something special in her voice that makes the songs alive. It showed how versatile she is.
Honestly, the song was really good to me. She sang it very well. I agree with what you said about them singing full English .I've been saying it to myself for a while. Sometimes, the lyrics don't make sense. It kinda sounds off when it's sung I full English. I will say, though, they did good with The Feels.

Song is mid, the vocals save it for me. Makes me think of rosé's gone, i only listen to it because of her heavenly vocals but definitely not fond of the song. But overall, it's okay, i don't think it's better than nayeon since both have different concepts but i think killin me good is more forgettable compared to pop.

The only thing that Killin me good helped me realise is how unbearable Jihyos vocal tone is. She kinda sounds like a country singer and like she’s forcing out notes at times, making her voice seem nasally. Even though i despise trot, i feel like Jihyo would kill it in a trot song like Love Battery or something. But wishing on you and closer was good.
Pop was definitely way better. Ofc since Pop! had twices signature bubblegum pop sound and nayeons basically their signature member. But it just generally sounds way better and complete compared to ZONE.
Idk why JYP fumbled the bag with TWICES signature sound and producers. Them exchanging BEP with Lindgren is their worst career decision ever. Ever since lindgren started producing TWICE songs, they’ve been sounding more forgettable and boring. They should work the BEP again, or just go back to their happier sound like Alcohol free. it will get them back on top and it just generally suits them better.
JYP has some of the worst vocal, rapping and dance trainers. Atleast in SM you realise they are good in vocals, or how in YG they are good in rapping but JYPE is just idols who look like they barley improved from debut

Jihyo has more of a blue-collar energy - so the song and video suit her. If anything, her clothes were TOO fancy for the concept. I wished the video would have expanded upon the storyline more.
