I like how the MK11 world assets and character models are still being used today, even after the release of MK1 2023.
Considering this is supposed to be set in universes where MK1 didn't happen, it wouldn't make sense to use the versions of the characters Liu Kang and Shang Tsung created.
@@Vixxie_AerogosaI remember there is a intro dialogue with Geras in mk1 where he gets asked if there was a keeper of time before Kronika and he said yes could this possibly be this timeline considering that the current timeline was proceeded by Billons more and remember the balance between light and darkness is already broken since cetrion is dead
It's also likely easier to reuse already existing content instead of going through the grief of creating all new material

Is ppl think he’s weak because well he debuted in game as being a fallen elder god and much weaker than he actually is. As a full elder god Shao Kahn is nothing to him and also can defeat Onaga. This much I know bcuz they both acknowledge fearing shinnok relating his full elder for power which he’s stronger than all other elder gods

Also It’s not shown here but in mk onslaught using shinnoks power deadly alliance can enslave shao Kahn and sindel and if they can so can shinnok using his own power.
Shinnok also made Onaga fear him and made Onaga his slave before….shinnnok does not fear shao Kahn or Onaga he is naturally much more powerful than them. Onaga perhaps achieved a level higher than shinnoks elder god full power level shown here,but it was due to possession of the kamidogu it’s the kamidogu that made him MUCH stronger than he actually is….Withojt that power Onaga feared even a fallen elder god shinnok and became his slave and also lost to Kahn who wasn’t powered up by any means at that point. Onaga could still defeat the deadly alliance but he can’t defeat shinnok or Kahn on onagas own by that I mean WITHOUT the kamidogu. He was basically cheating making himself look a lot stronger than he really was

Even though this is Onslaught, but I like to think of this as the final chapter of Mortal Kombat 11 with Mileena and Rain! Though I enjoyed watching the whole cutscenes of this video game 👍🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿

Shinnok should have been an Extension of MK11 like a part 2 of Aftermath.
Ha so in this timeline Raiden and Shinnokmwork together then Shinnok traps everyone else a threat in the amulet. I like how they show just how insanely powerful it is stripping Shang and Quan-Chi of being Elder Gods, so Shinnok can't kill Raiden, Shang and Quan-Chi but can only trap them. Nice upload
He can’t kill raiden bcuz raiden is a god at best his body can be destroyed as it was in deception and he will reform like a cloud he can’t really be killed. This is why shinnok trapped him also as a means of pure punishment worst than death as revenge which imo is better more interesting and a worse fate for someone
For deadly alliance they became
Elder gods and thus kept shinnoks immortlsity otjerwkse normally even fallen elder god destroys the normal deadly alliance this much is confirmed in onslauhht when quan chi and Shang Tsung both say we don’t want to feel the wrath of an elder Tod even a fallen one until we are elder gods ourselves confirming that fallen elder god shinnon can defeat them as is but I already knew this much he’s a fallen elder god still stronger than raiden even in that state and still stronger than qun chi Shang taunt shao Kahn. Shinnok even made Onaga fear him from returning to power and served him as shinnoks minion before
Shinnok continues to be getting boxed up by regular ass humans and is still relevant

Yeah that’s what been missing in MK1 (which in this case I’m not a huge fan of MK1), these clips scenes of MK Onslaught could it been saved in MK11 DLC story on how Shinnok manipulated the events once again, with Quan Chi’s resurrected & his assistance to join forces of the Netherrealm, retrieve the amulet to Shinnok, gain his powers as an Elder God & destroy all the realms & all that exists in the universe.

also the deadly alliance was literally scared to faced even a fallen elder god sink they literally said that in the other parts of onslaught they had to cast a spell to weaken him long enough to steal his power which is genius and shows how smart the are and how strong shinnok even as a fallen elder god is i mean onaga feared him and was his servant even and so that says a lot

Shao Kahn at his best couldn’t do this to the elder gods he couldn’t even scratch them with raiden in mk9
Onaga can’t rival this power either on his own not even close
He’s strong he’s an emperor but he’s no elder god
Onaga can only do this with the kamidogu but he himself alone without kamidogu is far from this power level that’s it
Shinnok can do it on his own with no power ups that is the difference between Onaga and Shinnok

you know with some little changes in the narrative, a new kombat pack and some very needed patches i would take this as season 3 in MK11 over MK1 everyday in the week.

@@rydn_x remember MK1 confirmed all MK11 arcade endings are canon to the Main storyline (along with other endings we never got in MK11 such as one where the original Havik obtained the Hourglass) so this will greatly depends on who is running this Onslaught timeline due to how most of the characters did not do many alterations to their timeline like Liu Kang did. Most of the characters during MK11 kept Cetrion in their timeline.

Personally thing they should’ve advertised Onslaught more and focus on MK1 behind the scenes cause I love the game but even I can see that some things were pretty rushed.

This is a good quastion. The eldergods have been defeated in heaven and the gods there are weakened. Also in the original timeline, Shinnok kills an elder god using his amulet in heaven. Maybe that is why.

For those of you who do not know Shinnok is a full elder god power resorted to him here

Shao Kahn at his best could not do this in mk9
Onaga also cannot match this power on his own
Onaga can only match this power if he had the kamidogu but without it he is a lot weaker and can’t match this power
Shinnok doesn’t need external power sources to do this he does it in his own power unlike Onaga.

What makes you think he was “possessed by the one being”!? Just because he wanted to merge realms? There’s no actual proof as far as I’m aware of that actually backs that claim up. I could be wrong,but I’m not aware of the one being ever having been mentioned in mk9 at all. Mk9 you do realize is just a direct remake of mk1-3 and in both mk3 and the 3rd part of mk9,Shao Kahn absorbs all the earth realm souls in order to become all powerful as he was. Normally I think raiden would perhaps be around a base shao Kahn of mk2 level but mk3 shao Kahn was far more powerful because he absorbed all the earth realm souls as his own giving him a massive power up so shao Kahn was much stronger in mk3 than he was in mk2…in mk9 the story is broken up between mk1-2 and 3 being where shao Kahn is too powerful. The story even says that shao Kahn merged earth realm and outworld together or was trying to because quan chi deceived him into thinking that the only way the elder gods will not punish him is by merging earthrealm into outworld therefore they would become one realm and NOT count as an “invasion” which shao Kahn was not allowed to do forcefully unless he won the mk tournament. Quan chi tricked shao Kahn into believing merging realms would spare him from the elder gods wrath but the opposite was true….The elder gods don’t care if you destroy any specific realm they care if you attempt to merge it which shao kahn now had attempted to do due to quan chi fooling him and it led to shao Kahn’s death and that’s what quan chi wanted . Shao Kahn was fooled and it led to his death.
The one being has nothing to do with shao kahn having been so powerful it’s bcuz he absorbed millions of souls. Even Kahn’s merging of the realms of we influenced directly by Quan Chi in an attempt to get rid of Shao Kahn and it worked.

They were together for a while, but then the One Being ate from the Elder Gods and wanted to realize what its name says: to exist alone. The Elder Gods tried to prevent this with a united force, but did not succeed at first, because since the One Being ate from them, it became immune to their power. That's why the Elder Gods created their amulet, which gives them a big power boost. They dismembered the One Being, the realms became from his body, and according to the agreement, the spirit of the dismembered One Being is sealed in their amulet. Shinnok broke this agreement and collected some of the One Being's unique power into his already unique amulet.
After that, the Elder Gods were more powerful than anyone else, but they swore not to interfere directly in the affairs of the realms.
Now... I could write endlessly... I'll try to be relatively short, leaving things out.
From the fragmented spirit of the One Being, which remained free after a long time, he began to remember who he was and began to take things in the direction that strong rulers wanted to unite the worlds, and on the other hand, he wanted to unite the parts of the spirit as well.
The spirit parts were successfully united and the time reset did not undo this. All that remains is to unite his body. One of Shionnok's endings shows what happens when it succeeds...
At the end of MK9, One Being's spirit was already strong and his body started to come together. Shao Kahn says the words that are spoken when the One Being completely dominates someone. Shao Kahn wants to fight and rule not be destroyed, but then he is no longer master of himself he is ok with the full destruction.
The One Being's merged spirit and merging body was strong enough that Raiden + the rest of the Elder Gods could only be stopped with great difficulty. Shinnok killed an Elder God in the original timeline during MK4.
This is probably why Kronika thought it was a good idea to kill all the Elder Gods besides her children: they have become useless, they can no longer effectively stop the One Being merger.
But anyway, it's been said a thousand times: Nothing is stronger than the Elder Gods, only the One Being and now the titans. Shao Kahn, Blaze other lesser gods... they are nowhere near.
That is, it is logical that it is because of the power of the One Being. And again: Shao Kahn says the lyrics that are spoken when the One Being takes over.

Well, they sort of did (Unless they were revived in MK1, but of that I don't know). They point of killing them in MK11 was to basically remove them from the plot completely. I assume so that they could have a good narrative reason for the Elder Gods not stopping every conflict.

So basically this the story missing after Math part 3 ..but the MK11 was discontinued and incomplete because XENA warrior princess was suppose to join the Roster as well smh. MK11 looks better and play better than MK1 ❤ 😢it’s sad the writers and creators couldn’t come to an agreement on this story content or making a longer version of 😆MK11 .
So pretty much dose Mortal Kombat onslaught tell a story of what happened before shinnok was decapitated.
It's unrelated to MKX and MK11. It's its own timeline and story.
