    Ok, so you cut around the door handle, what about the little pocket behind the door handle?
    Another piece?

    Can emblems/badges be re-installed and applied directly to vinyl? I want to remove the badges on the trunk and the hood, wrap vinyl, and then re-apply the badges, but I don't know if the weight of the badges will pull the vinyl off or if the double-sided tape on the badges will adhere to the vinyl.

      As long as you are not using carbon blade or putting excessive pressure on the knife, you wont damage the glass

    The time you are taking on masking the door handle and all that other stuff u can just remove the door handle and do everything in one piece

    • @dashek78
      @dashek78 Před 5 lety +9

      Yeah. Try with Jeep WK2. You need to disasemble whole door with windows. + You need to put it back together later ;)

      What a Noob. Yeah good work . some models take hours to take out all the door trim etc. What's wrong with this method?? We do this often. speeds up workflow...

    • @THEMRLOLKOPF
      @THEMRLOLKOPF Před 5 lety +13

      True, but there are some cars (for example the Audi A6 C5), where you need to dissemble the whole door to be able to get the door handle out. And it's fixed by mini-plastic-clips and the chance to break them during the disassembly is at 50%... And you can't get these clips alone, you need to buy a whole new lock from Audi, which costs about $350. But a positive point, the door handle is only opened at the bottom, so here, it is much easier to wrap around it...
